There looks to be plenty extra space with the arms fully open width wise and it’s definitely not an issue height wise. There are a few mm to spare with the depth too. It spends 4 hours total per day in this holder and it truly is flawless, including fast (for wireless) charging. It charges quicker than the little brick that comes with the iPhone and almost as fast as the iPad cube. This is with a QC quick charge plug driving it. I’ve used it with my P iq2 (2.4a?) with good results. To answer the question, it fits my wife’s iPhone 7+ in the Defender which is very close to the same size as the Max in the same case. It holds it fine over the worst bumps and high g-forces. I can’t comment on the wireless charging through this case with this charger since the 7 doesn’t do wireless and my Pursuit case on my Max puts the phone closer to the coil. |
