Question:	I need something to discourage my cats from climbing on the screen door. If this is placed on the top step do think it would work
Answer:	Sounds iffy. If there is any way for the cats to step over, step around or jump over the mat, they will. You may have to buy more than one mat. But, fortunately, after the first sensation, there is little chance the animal will step on the mat ever again, whether there is power to it or not. One thing I can't answer is if your cats are heavy enough to make the mat work, it did work with my 15 lb. dog.
Question:	Can this be used outdoors

We would not recommend the use of the 46 x 3 ScatMat Indoor Pet Training Mat to keep a dog out of the trash can since it is so narrow and they could easily step over it. Question:	Will this keep a dog from wanting to go out and potty
Answer:	In a nutshell--yes, it does work. Sometimes it only comes back halfway, but most of the time it makes it all the way to the bottom of the cage, and many times it comes all the way back to my hitting mat. It's simple, really. It's a gravity return system. The net at the back of the cage is about a foot higher than the front of the cage, so the ball simply rolls downhill back to the front. So, yes, it works as well as gravity LOL.

Answer:	My hat size is 7 3\8. The L\xl hat size was too big so I returned for sm\m which fits better. A little snug but ok. Wish they had a med\large.
