Answer:	Yes, you can choose from multiple different chimes per sensor. Optionally you can also set the location so when it chimes it will speak the location of the sensor that went off. (eg: "Master Bedroom Window")

Answer:	Only with paid monitoring.
Question:	Does this unit communicate with its sensors through my home wifi network
Answer:	Yes it does, as long as you have a fairly basic wireless router that is connected to your ISP. I have a powerful firewall and it prevented the unit from communicating with the internet.
Question:	If not using the adt services, what kind of alert does it send for self monitoring? sms? mail or ip call? can you arm and disarm the system remotely
Answer:	I have SMS and email alerts. I have not looked into IP calling and you can arm and disarm the system remotely. If you are replacing an existing SmartThings Hub, you will need to recreate all customization (Routines, Room, Scenes), you will also need to exclude all your devices from the old hub so you can add them to then new hub. Only ADT sensor will work for monitoring your house. If you have old motion/entry sensors they will not trigger an ADT alert and I have lost the ability to trigger an SMS from these old sensors as well. Additionally, there is now a hard copy activation code that you receive that you need to keep if you plan on adding additional users. I hope that helps. I am satisfied with they hub without ADT monitoring, but it was a lot of work (10 hours) to have the system in an acceptable state.

Answer:	The camera is for indoor use only. It has an setting to indicate whether the picture is an outdoor or indoor view to compensate for the lighting.

Answer:	An event will trigger the camera(s) to take a snapshot and send it up to the cloud. A 30-second recording will also occur per camera. As the camera has some memory in it, the 30-second recording will consist of 5 seconds before the event and continue for another 25 seconds. Event recordings get stored on the 16GB USB flash drive that gets plugged into an OPU USB port.Manual recordings are saved to the photo album of the device being used, be it smartphone or tablet. The recording is a 30 second video clip.

Answer:	What cords are you referring to? It does come with the power supply and cord to connect it to the router. It also comes with one SHORT (perhaps 5 ft) Cat 5 cord to connect your modem to the router. PS...that will leave 3 empty gigabit ports open on your router....but no cords are included for those.

Answer:	Tonya, you first need a "modem", which can be purchased on Amazon. This makes the internet signal usable by the Tenda router. Connect modem to Tenda WiFi router, and you will have whole house WiFi internet reception.
Question:	Can you connect the extender unit with an ethernet cable as opposed to extending the wifi via wireless? But still creating a mesh network
Answer:	I had the same problem and Cox couldn't even help me. I found that the network settings had to be changed to match the setup you have with your internet service provider (ISP). I recall there being three options. The booklet shows one option but that didn't work for Cox. I don't have it in front of me but I believe it's DHCP for Cox. You don't have to setup a new user or pw. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Unless your TV is one of those super thin oleds or under 27 pounds, this is doubtful. Fireplace? Keep in mind the clamp is max bite width of 2.4 inches. The bolt mount included only goes up to roughly 80-85mm (Taking mounting space into the math) You might be looking more ideally at the Ergotron MX arm with wall mounting if you still want the full range of motion like this one. Otherwise I'd suggest looking at their other arm types :) Hope this helps.
Question:	How sensitive are these? Can it pick up small motions like those from eating dinner at a table
Answer:	I have a 27" monitor attached to the swing arm. Don't know what it weighs. But that's not the problem. The problem is how you are securing the arm. Make sure it is a very robust connection. And the mounting pattern should be the same. They are called VESA mounts. Look on the back of the monitor. Not all monitors have them.
Question:	Will the motion sensor work with Wink Hub
Answer:	Most definitely! I use a Cintiq for work and it holds up perfectly. A lot of maneuverability which is a plus as I have an electronic adjustable desk that I use for standing and sitting at. My suggestion would be to find a position that’s right for you and lock it there as I have found if there isn’t enough tension then I tend to lose my comfortable position. Hope that helps.

What if I could not connect the Aqara Motion Sensor to the app?

1. Check to see if the hub's firmware version is up to date.

2. Check if the hub is already in the pairing mode.

4. Keep the sensor as close as possible to the hub and keep trying.

5. Try with another child device to see if there is something wrong with the sensor itself.

6. Try with another hub and see if there is something wrong with the previous hub.

Answer:	The Aquanta will allow you to turn the water heater on and off at preset times. There is a lag between turning the heater on and having water at your desired temp. If the recirculating pump is only getting heated water to places where you use it so it’s hot when you turn it on the. It should have no impact. Just consider how long it will take from when you turn the heater on to getting water up to temp. I don’t know that there is a way to sync them unless your recirculating system only operated when your water supply reached a preset temperature. Hope that helps

I recommend you try using this arm with the "Ergotron Notebook Arm Mount Tray" attached to it. I recommend this because a laptop's screen can be tilted through a large range. Thus, there's a good chance that the combination of the arm and tray will let your daughter tilt the laptop screen (and possibly the keyboard) to a position that's comfortable. If it turns out that the screen is in a good position but not the laptop's keyboard, get a stand-alone keyboard with USB plug. Additionally, get her a trackball so she doesn't have to use the touch pad on the laptop. Note: you may have to also add the "Ergotron 45-289-026 Mounting Extension" to this whole setup in order to reach the position she needs it to be in, but I don't know for sure. If it were me, I'd order the extension just to be safe. One more thing... yes, this system works very well when attached to a sturdy night stand or side table. I recommend you bolt the Ergotron setup directly to the tabletop near the corner that's closest to the bed, and closest to her feet as this will give the laptop the best chance of reaching your daughter.I mention all of this because I have severe back injuries and I am sometimes bedridden for days. I have an Ergotron setup similar to what I describe above next to my Zero Gravity lounge chair in the living room, and I love the combination! All other generations of cameras (indoor, XT and XT2) will be cloud based if/when they are added to the SM2. All existing customers who have an account created on or before 4/15/2020 will receive free cloud storage on all devices added to their account going forward, including Mini, and Blink Indoor and Outdoor.

Answer:	The recording starts immediately upon motion sensing. The *Early Notification* Beta setting alerts you within 5 seconds of motion detection, and you can access the Live View from your phone and choose whether you'd like to keep the live view clip. The live view clip then saves for as long as you'd like to continuously watch (which you'll be prompted to do), otherwise, you'll recorded clip will only be as long as you sell it to be(upto 60 seconds) with a cool down of 10seconds between clips with motion. Also, you can toggle whether you want it to stop recording 2seconds after motion end, or allow it to always record for the triggered clip length. I purchased mine mid- December 2020, and it works amazingly.
Question:	How are these different than my Blink XT2 cameras
Answer:	I just spoke with a Blink representative on the phone, he informed me that if you have a blink account activated before 4/15/20 using the older cameras (i.e. XT2), if you purchase the new cameras, they can be added to your existing system and they will be able to utilize the free cloud storage since the account is grandfathered in. The cloud storage paid plan is only for accounts made after 4/15/20.
