Answer:	Wood studs are 16" on center providing 14.5" of space between them. If walls have metal studs its wise to insert (2) 1x2x2 filler pieces inside the cavity of the left and right side studs and then lag screw through both the wood and metal.
Question:	How is battery life with brand name alkaline batteries
Answer:	Personally, I change the batteries every year in my safes and smoke detectors whether they need it or not. Batteries are cheap so why not. I reuse the batteries in remotes and flashlights.

Answer:	Hello, i dont think this is an option. I think your first concern in this situation should be your safety (i.e. locking the door) and getting somewhere safe. Step 2 should be dialing 911. Step 3 Accessing your firearm locked up in wall safe. If you want something more handy and quiet, you may want to look at the Gunvault products. They are table top and can be placed right on your night stand.

Answer:	I don't see why you would need a closet. There is nothing that holds the system up that requires the adjacent walls. The brackets mount flat against the back wall of the closet and the bars hook on, they don't touch the side walls. Cool idea, though.
Question:	Can I put this on 2 separate walls
Answer:	How long is that main rail? I only have 48" of space on the wall.

Answer:	You get 2 5 feet and 2 4 feet hang rods so if you use 2 8 feet rods you will only be able to use 2 , however if you use 1 8 feet and 2 4 feet you will have 3 hang rods!
Question:	How deep does the closet need to be to use this system? My closet is long and tall approximately 84 x 96 but is only 24.5 deep. I am worried the shelves may not work out
Answer:	yes your closet is deep enough for the rubbermaid system as 24 inches is pretty standard. The rubbermaid shelving is only 13 inches deep. I am really pleased with mine and have them in all of our closets now. You can adjust them quite a bit to fit your needs.

Answer:	Try using a butter knife in order to get the key cover off. If that doesn't help please contact us directly.

Answer:	Whilst the previous answers were quite amusing; Do you have the original documentation that came with the safe? You might be able to contact them with the safe number et c and get a replacement key. Otherwise, you can spend some time guessing at the combination. It's 5 characters so 12^5 combinations (248,832), so one combination every 5 seconds, 8 hours a day, and assuming that you will hit it within 25% of all choices, it should only take you about 11 days.A locksmith might be able to help you with the key being missing. Probably your best bet.
Question:	Standard distance between wall studs is 16". Why not make the safe 16" wide? As is is it appears there will be a 1" gap on both sides
Answer:	You are correct the interior dimensions are 0.635. I believe the outside dimensions were used (i.e. 22 x 16.5 x 4) as the calculation for the interior.
Question:	How often do the batteries need to be replaced (if rarely opened
Answer:	The face of the safe sits 1/4 inch from the wall plus the keypad is out 1/2 inch from the face of the safe. You could use a picture but it would need to have that amount of space (at least 3/4 inch) between the frame and the back of the picture to cover the safe.

Question:	Are the shelves removable
Answer:	The unit claims to hold multiple print access. However, my unit failed immediately with the system consuming batteries over night. The print access is completely useless. Safe only functions with the key. It is a total impractical set up. I am changing out to another manufacturer. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I DO NOT RECOMMEND use of this safe for any quick access needs.
Question:	My husband apparently closed the safe as soon as he got it out of the packaging and now the instructions/code are locked inside the box. Please help
Answer:	The safe itself was very nice and of good quality. The interior shelves were absolutely poor. Mine came with 3 shelves. One was broken upon arrival and unable to be used, one had mismatched tabs so they didn't fit into the slots inside the safe, and one came with bent tabs that I had to bend back. That's the only shelf I have because of the issues and it will barely hold cash without falling out of the interior rails

Answer:	Your studs are 16" on center but only 14-1/2" in between them. You cut your 14-1/4" hole and run screws in the 4 holes in the holes in sides of safe. Works great.

Answer:	Office white would be the appropriate description. It is the same color as an office white filing cabinet. Does that help?
Question:	If i have multiple peoples fingerprints saved in memory, is there a memory log to see if the safe was accessed without my knowledge
Answer:	Mine does not have holes in the back, only on the sides for mounting. It is very substantial and designed to be mounted to the studs. A cabinet itself is not stable enough to support the safe. That said, I suppose you could drill holes thru the back, but it would have to be screwed into wall studs. Hope this helps!
Question:	There have been complaints about poor quality control for the interior shelves. has this been fixed? if i buy one today, will the shelves work
Answer:	The safe itself is "fireproof" but it is not insulated so it will not protect paper or media items from heat damage. The safe is burglary resistant. Putting items in an asbestos bag will not protect them from heat so do not let anyone sell you on that idea. There are no truly fireproof safes on fire resistant safes and then they are only rated for certain types of fires. A safe rated 1 hour 350 degrees should protect documents for up to one hour in a normal building fire; if the fire burns too long or too hot the safe will not protect documents. Answer:	I bought this safe in 2014 and just replaced the original factory batteries today (early 2021). On overage I only use the keypad once a month, but I’m beyond satisfied with the battery life. I’m not sure the batteries would last any longer if they were simply stored in a drawer.

Answer:	If you're talking about the useable box it's W13.5" x H4.5" x D3.5". There's a lip that borders the perimeter that it s about one inch thick. This lip is the part that you use to fasten to the studs which are typically 16" on center.

Answer:	I no longer own that house but the safe fits between 2 studs which are 16" on center. The grid is is about 1" larger on both sides

Answer:	Yes but you can’t leave it on your face like the gel. This is a wash, so you must rinse it off. But it has the same benefits!

Answer:	I have back acne and was recommended panoxyl. As long as it has 10% Benzoyl Peroxide (which this does), it’ll work. I use this in the shower and then after I apply differing on my back. The combination of the two cleared my bacne after struggling with it for 35 years.
