Answer:	The user's own audio sensitivity is what is really being highlighted here. Some folks hear a clicking, some hear a high pitched squeal, and others hear nothing at all. I have several types of this sonic repeller and notice no undue noise, Various visitors, however, have commented on a very annoying squeal. Since people's audio sensitivity differs widely, I just can't say what you will experience, So far, my own household experience is that about 1 out of 8 hear the "squeal". Since the units I use are by various manufacturers and not just the B & H, I really can't pinpoint the source of the squeal. On the plus side, the mice have disappeared.

I could tell they were setting it off because of the flashing light, and I could hear it clicking. It didn't even phase them. I tried all the frequencies. Don't waste your money.
