Answer:	yes the lid does need to be opened 1st to open thre front & i would say it's about 3 inches or so but I agree the loop that comes through the top could be cut off but then there would be nothing to keep the front doors closed

I just went outside and measured, the interior dimensions are: EXACTLY 48 inches wide from side to side, but the doors are not straight across, they are shaped like a wave and from front to back the measurement is only 20" at its narrowest and about 22 at the widest.

Answer:	43.5 deep x 50 wide x 72 high. Plenty I would think for most lawn mowers. Also has a very sturdy floor. I like this unit; pretty well made.

Answer:	There are some screws that hold panels together, gas struts and related mounting brackets. I don't see chlorine tablets, or the acid in the bottles corroding unless there is direct contact. Tablets in packets, or buckets are sealed when I had a pool.

Answer:	I found it relatively easy. The instructions call for two people to assemble it but I had no help and had to do it alone. If you are comfortable using simple tools then it shouldn't be too difficult.

Answer:	Direct sun and high daytime temperatures may be a problem for the lid. We have had our unit for several months and it serves us well for storage. Question:	Is it waterproof
Answer:	Yes...so far.We have not had a down pour yet, but with the rain we have had it has stayed dry inside.
Question:	What should I put under the shed if I have it outside
Answer:	I have mine on asphalt on side of house , but if putting on grass area just use some patio blocks but level of ground surface first

Answer:	Hello Thank you for contact , product dimensions are the following : 51.6 x 45.6 x 30.8 inches , the inside dimensions are : 48.6 x 42.6 x 27.8 .
Question:	What size are the trash bins shown in the sales photo
Answer:	I'm not sure what size cans those are but here are the interior dimensions: Interior width = 49", depth (back to front) = 28.25" and height = 40" at the rear (lowest point). Different brands of 48 gal cans are slightly different in size, but most of them seem to be fine on the width and height with the depth being the iffy figure. The best bet would be to measure your cans (or the cans you want to get) and make sure they'll fit before ordering this bin. Hope this helps.

Question:	How does this shed hold up to rain / storms
Answer:	So far so good. Ironic that you should ask this question today, we've been having high gusts of winds for about the last 15 hours, and although there are trash can issues and sticks all over the yard, the shed is rock solid with no problems. No problem in past rain or snow storms either. We've had our shed since Aug '18. Highly recommend!!
Question:	What is the Shipping container size
Answer:	The boxes are about 2 ft thick and 5 ft x 6 ft. Biggest pieces I think are the sidewall panels. Everything else is smaller. End panels are 2 piece to ridge with gable panels on top and side panels either side of the two double door panels. On the back there are wall panels up to another table panel. Piece marks are molded in to each major piece.
Question:	What amount of wind can they withstand
Answer:	The specifications state a wind tolerance slightly below hurricane-force, but I forget exactly. My Suncast BMS8100 Tremont 8 x 10 shed made it intact through Hurricane Irma, without any strapping down or extra precautions.
Question:	If I build a base exactly 8' x 10' will that be big enough
Answer:	You would cover the width but the plastic floor length is 10' 1" so there would be some overhang in the front or back. I just put four boards bracketed together at 9 × 11, filled with gravel, then sand, then threw down 1'x1' pavers and it worked great. Also keep in mind the roof is longer and wider as well if you are putting it against a fence or wall.
