Answer:	you can make the mix what ever you want just read the mix instructions

Answer:	I assume you have a 2 cycle trimmer. Read the manual on the correct oil/gas mixture. Most American built trimmers use a 40:1 or 50:1 mixture. 40:1 is 2.6 oz. per gallon. A little less oil if 50:1. Chinese 2 cycle motors still use 25:1 or 20:1 oil mixture. Use 5.1 oz. of oil per gallon of gas for 25:1 or a little more if 20:1 mixture.

Answer:	I use 50:1. That takes 2 oz per gallon so I get 8 gallons per bottle. It is great having the squeeze section so you can precisely measure before filling gas can.

Answer:	Usually the ratio is 50:1, that's a little container of two cycle oil (2.6 oz) to one gallon of gas. To make 25:1 use the 2.6 oz two cycle oil to a 1/2 gallon of gas. That's the simple way. I just got a two cycle engine that's Chinese made and this appears to be the trend so I tend to think it may be important to get the extra oil in the mix just to be safe.

Answer:	I run this mix at 40-1 in all 3 of my Husqvarna chainsaws two of the call for 50-1 mix. I used to run it at 32-1 as one of my saws, a 1978 husky 480 CD requires 40-1. I prefer to keep my saws around for a while and not have them seize up.

Answer:	Correct. If using this your machine is most likely a 2 stroke machine. You need to find out what ratio the manufacturer recomends for the machine you are using it in. Mix the gas and oil to the correct ratio and then add it to the machine. I recommend getting a small 1 gallon gas can specifically for your mixed solution. Gas nowadays goes bad quick, so if you are not using much, only mix around 1 gallon at a time.

Answer:	The one I bought was a six pack. Not sure on your replacement question. I used this oil in my Husky backpack blower and Husky chainsaw. Works great. Hint: I was a professional tree trimmer for many years. One thing we learned with the newer generation of high rev saws such as Stihl and Huskys was to mix the oil a little heavier than called for. The way we did it was to use a gallon can to mix in. We put a little gas in first and then poured in the oil and shook it up good. Then pour a little gas in the now empty oil bottle, put the cap on and shake it good and pour that in the gallon can. We did that a couple times to get every bit of the oil. We then put the rest of the gas in the gallon can, but we didn't quite fill it all the way to the gallon line. The end result was the saw would put out just a bit of smoke. Which is a good thing when using these high revving engines. Kept them from seizing up under hard use, and more so in the summer.

Answer:	I rode dirt bikes for 25 years. I have used all kinds of 2 stroke oils during that time. Royal Purple is one of the best in my opinion and in the opinion of the mechanics at the bike shop I go to. Being synthetic is a huge deal also. It burns almost smokeless with very little carbon build up. I use it in all my 2 stroke motors like the weed wacker, chain saw, and back pack blower. I run it at about 45 to 1 ratio. Answer:	Not knowing the context of your inquiry, I cannot respond to your question as to high performance... I use Royal Purple HP-2C (Synthetic two stroke oil) in my 1987 Yamaha Jog 50cc motor scooter and am delighted with the results it has given me. The bike has shown a marked increase in areas such as much easier starting and now produces nearly zero smoke when running even though it is a 30 yr old vintage two stroke machine. When I bought it, she smoked like someone puffing on a stogie so I'm assuming the previous owner used some brand of inexpensive off brand two stroke oil. I recommend Royal Purple HP-2C Synthetic Oil for use in any 2 cycle application IF your looking for improved results in your particular application.

Answer:	I am not in a place to "second guess" the manufacturer of your device, but I know that oil products have improved over the years. I was a hands-on mechanic with 2-stroke equipment for a lot of years and I've seen the required mix go from 20:1 to 50:1 and higher. Some of this is due to the materials used in the equipment and some of this is due to the fact that newer oils have higher film strength. I believe this Stihl product is a full synthetic oil. I don't believe that running this stuff at the 50:1 ratio will hurt anything, but I also believe that increasing the mix ratio on this stuff to 40:1 will not cause problems with your current equipment and might only show itself as an occasional fouled spark plug.

I have been using full synthetic oil in my vehicles since around 1980.
