Answer:	The bristles on this brush are soft enough that I don't think it would scratch tile.

Answer:	I hadn't noticed it scratching tile. The bristles are very sturdy, but not made of metal. I hate the handle, but if you hold it at the base, the hardness of the bristles are good for certain things. I still prefer my other brush with a straight handle for the bulk of what I do.
