Different frequency bands will have different occupied / non-occupied channels which could affect whether you have interference or drop outs during use. The H8, K12 and M15 bands are now discontinued and not recommended for future use. The current bands are the H9, H10 and J10.

Answer:	A comparison between the Shure SM58, Shure B58 and Shure PG58 microphones. The Shure SM58 is a "stage mic" designed to pick up more "off-axis vocals and sounds" that allow other vocalists to be heard "more naturally" while on stage. This feature helps to compliment stage monitors. However, the "off-axis" technology of the Shure SM58 is not good for small stage areas, particularly if there are a large quantity of mics, speaker cabinets and floor monitors within close proximity to each other. In such small spaces, the SM58 is more prone to feedback. The Shure B58 ("Beta 58") is a better choice for smaller areas and is more suitable for "recording live performance vocals" because it is better at handling a wider frequency range for both male and female vocals. This mic also has a "greater rejection curve" which simply means that the mic will not pick up sounds "outside of the vocal axis" (i.e. - the mic won't pick up sounds on the backside of the mic). Question:	Some of our users want headset mic. What would be compatible headset mic, and can i order it together with this set
Answer:	You will not be able to use a headset and handheld mic at the same time. The SM31 headset has a nonslip coating. The PGA31 and WH20 will work. But you need a BLX1 bodpack with frequency H9 (or whichever frequency receiver you currently have).
Question:	Can i use more than 1 mic with the receiver
Answer:	Not with this system as it uses the single channel BLX4 receiver. If you want 2 x SM58 microphones, you will want to purchase the BLX288/SM58. This system comes with a dual channel receiver.
Question:	Does this sm58 come as a dual one. I only found the pg58 dual not the sm
Answer:	Shure does not make a premade BLX combo with 2 x SM58 microphones.The only way would be to purchase the BLX88 (dual channel receiver) and 2 x BLX2/SM58 (transmitter).

Answer:	The MV88 used with the Shure Motiv App will handle SPLs of up to 120 dB. That's very loud and certainly in the hearing damaging range. The App compressor can keep the recording software from clipping if you start recording with too high a gain setting, but cannot keep the mic itself from clipping if you exceed 120 dB SPL. The Motiv App allows for 37dB of gain adjustment, and for very loud SPLs can be set for "0dB" gain. I've recorded a full symphony orchestra peaking at 103 dB SPL up close with the gain set to 20dB and the peaks hit no higher than -3 dB digitally with no limiting. However, some heavy metal bands can produce very dangerous SPLs that do exceed 120 dB close to their speakers, so limiter or not, it is possible to overdrive the MV88.
