Question:	does dust escape
Answer:	Yes, some dust does escape while using the vacuum function. It depends on how much dry dirt is in the debris that you are picking up.
Question:	I've got lots of acrons falling. Will this pick them up and will the acorns hurt the unit
Answer:	I just uyse mine for the first time. I purchased it elsewhere because I wanted it right away oh, but it is the same model. As someone else noted, the instruction manual specifically says to avoid acorns. What ends up happening is that it will get stuck in the impeller, you can hear it clanking around, and that will eventually damage the blades, especially on an electric model like this. So, while it will pick up the acorns, I wouldn't recommend it. I have found that reducing the speed and hovering above leaves that happen to have acorns under them works pretty well to get the leaves. I also have a portion of my driveway that is gravel, and if I hover above that, it will pick up the leaves without picking up the gravel.
Question:	I'm assuming that it is a three prong plug but want to make sure before I buy an extension cord with it
Answer:	It is a two prong plug on the blower (this is normal) but you still want to use/buy a grounded extension cord to your supply outlet.

Answer:	NO, don’t buy this. I am 5’2 108 lbs. and 68 yrs., very determined to do my own yard work. The vac tube makes it impossible for me to handle the weight. As it is now, I have to hold the motor at chest height. There should be a shorter tube attachment option. Blower is no problem.

Question:	Just bought this trimmer. Charger only lights one red light on top. Hedge trimmer charger lights both red . When charging is complete bottom lights gr
Answer:	When the battery is in the Charger, the top light only indicates the charger is operational and supplying power to the battery. It will always stay red when charger is plugged in. The bottom light is also red until the battery is fully charged at which time it goes green. The test button on the battery tell you how low or full the state of charge is by indicating via the number of red lights the % charge of the battery. This is so you can get a quick look when its not on the charger. If when charging, the red light fails to turn green after a few hours it 'indicates one off two things; either your battery is shot and needs to be replaced or possibly the charger, itself, has failed. A second known battery will resolve which of the above it is. It always takes a few seconds for the top lred light to come on as the charger must built up enough electrical charge to start the process. The weed wacker from my opinion draws more current from the battery then the trimmer does and it will need to be recharged sooner when used in the trimmer.
Question:	Does this hedge trimmer constantly jam up for anyone else? If so, anyway to fix this
Answer:	It may be the battery. Toro cordless tools have weak batteries. They discharge quickly and just don't last long. A hedge trimmer should be gas or electric (AC) to have the power needed to cut through small branches. Take it back if you can.

Answer:	I made a gutter cleaning attachment with three pieces of one-inch PVC pipe and two 90-degree elbows, attaching it to the blower by cutting the bottom off a plastic bottle and taping it to the front end of the blower. Nothing elegant, but it works!

Answer:	No the vacuum has a steel blade in it (the reason my husband likes it) that mulches and is permanent.

Answer:	I have an oak tree along my driveway - no problem mulching the leaves. If this manages to inhale an acorn, it will be shredded (or at least cracked open). But the inlet is very wide, which reduces likelihood of leaf clogging, but also makes it difficult to vacuum up large heavier debris like acorns. If you are on a quest to shred acorns (to reduce mice pest issue), I would first use a shop vacuum and collect the acorns into a bucket. Then you will have an easier time mulching them with this (if needed, you could lay the blower on it's side and drop handfuls of acorns down the blower's feed tube).

Answer:	Nope....pretty basic. Plug it in and with your own natural navigation and a little muscle you can complete the task all by yourself. I don't recommend counting leaves. It wastes too much time you could be playing with your ipad or smartphone. As for emails.....do that when you take a break from your hard work. Texting, emailing and blowing air while your multitasking is overrated.

Answer:	The WG520 Turbine blower only has 2 prongs on it.

Answer:	It's difficult to answer in terms of decibels. I would say louder than a hair dryer and not as loud as a lawn mower. No more loud than any average leaf blower you may have heard before. Hope this helps.

Answer:	ABSOLUTELY! This is a great leaf blower! 5 of 5 Stars. I have a full-time landscaper so I've only used mine a couple of times for yard work. I purchased this to do a "hands-free" blowdrying of my full-size Lincoln Navigator. I detest paint swirls (fine scratches in the paint) so I minimize touching the paint with any sort of material. I tried several different leaf blowers before finding this one. This blower gets 90% of the water off the car the few drops that are left are carefully removed with a 100% cotton, hemless, microfiber towel specifically designed not to produce paint swirls. Don't skimp on the extension cord though. You will need a (minimum) 12 Ga 50' cord to use with this product as it pulls 15 amps on Turbo (highest setting). I am tired of dealing with the cord though, and EGO just came out with some fantastic cordless leaf blowers that have similar MPH and CFM ratings but, unfortunately, they cost several times more than this unit. I am testing one later today that cost $179 and next week I will be testing the $329 model from EGO. I will have the Worx blower to fall back on if they don't work out but from what I've read it looks like I will be selling my Worx blower soon.

Answer:	Yes, I use it for that. The on/off switch has a variable speed control. As a result, you can vary the blower force so you can gently blow the grass and not the mulch.
Question:	While i read in the question area about a rake attachment w/black+decker bv6600, i don't see amazon saying it in the product description; included
Answer:	Yes, the rake is in there. I wouldn’t say that it was a deciding factor for me for the purchase though. I personally see it as a hindrance because the leaves would ball up on the rake. But the unit is a great blower, vac, mulcher.
Question:	Can this be used to vacuum fireplace ash? Would there be a bag attachment more suitable to collect ash, or would the standard/disposable bag work
Answer:	Oh goodness no. Ash particulate matter are too small and will escape the bag and ash will go all over the room. Don't use this inside the house to collect ash. I suppose you can do this outside and it won't be as problematic.

Answer:	According to the Black and Decker web site the difference is the attachments it comes with. see the following I quote...The differences between all three of those models are the attachments that are included with them and the switch. The performance of all three are the same 180/250 mph. BV5600 includes the vacuum tubes, blower tubes, concentrator, reusuable collection bag, leaf blaster attachment, and two speed switch.BV6000 includes the vacuum tubes, blower tubes, concentrator, diffuser, disposable bag, detachable strap, and two speed switch.BV6600 includes all the same attachments as the BV6000 plus a rake attachment and the switch is variable speed.

Answer:	Not much difference in the two models. The BV6600 cost a little more has and air speed range of 140-250 mph and the BV5600 air speed range is 180-250 mph. I chose the BV6600 so that I would have the option of using it at the lower, quieter airspeed in areas where less power is needed.

Answer:	Don't see how a replaceable bag could work in that it would have to have the ability to allow air flow without releasing too much dust. The cost would not be much less than the bag supplied with this item

Answer:	It does have a short power cord to connect to an extension cord. An extension cord does not come as part of the Toro 51585 Power Sweep. My wife uses this item frequently and likes it very much. It is light weight, but plenty powerful.
Question:	One of the reviews says that the plug is only two prong and isn't the three prong grounded plug. My long extension cord and probably all long outdoor extension cords are three prong with the ground. Can someone verify if this accepts a three prong grounded extension cord
Answer:	I didnt understand why it wasnt a 3 prong either... I have an old, like 25 or more yrs old I had to stop using because the plug on it started pulling away from the short wire. (the only weak link in this machine that I encountered) I was going to fix it and found a plug .. but with that stubby end and all the yanking etc right there so close to the machine I decided to just replace the machine. The two prong on the machine wouldnt care if there is an extra hole in the socket plug in .. and if the machine only has 2 prongs I guess it doesnt need 3.
