Answer:	I purchased mine from CPO last spring. It advertised having two 4ah batteries, but came with one 4ah, and one 2ah. I contacted them and told them that it did not arrive as advertised, so they sent me a second 4ah battery. I believe this was a temporary thing, because I keep seeing the mixed batteries being shown. If you purchase one that is supposed to come with two 4ah batteries, then make certain they supply as advertised.

Answer:	There are 2 things that are known to cause premature death of a Lithium battery - whether it's a leaf blower, cell phone, or electric vehicle battery: Excessive heat and excessive state of charge/discharge. Lithium batteries do best in moderate temperature range and moderate state of charge, i.e. keep them cool (but not too cold) and try to charge/use them within the range of 80% to 20% state of charge, as much as possible. These batteries do have built-in safety circuitry to prevent overheating, overdischarging, and overcharging, but the setting is likely a compromise b/w runtime and longevity, so if you want to prioritize longevity then you might have to compromise on runtime. I live n Florida, and have a 5 year old 40v GW lawn mower and a leaf blower, with one 4Ah and two spare 2Ah batteries with no noticeable reduction in runtime yet. They do get heavy use, so I was not expecting them to last this long, but I do follow a few simple rules to protect the batteries. : 1. Always store the batteries partially charged - somewhere b/w 1-2 LED indicators. 2. Always store the batteries inside my climate controlled home, to protect them from temperature extremes and humidity. 3. Charge to full about 1 hour before use, and allow thme to cool down first before use. 4. While running the mower or blower, I check the charge indicator occasionally and change the battery when the indicator gets down to one LED. 5. I store the battery Never store the battery in fully charged, or discharged state. Between use, I store the batteries with no more than 2 LEDs.

Question:	How long is the cord
Answer:	As several people have stated, it dosn't come with a cord. You must buy a separate outdoor extension cord long enogh for your use. One person stated he used a 100 ft 10 amp cord. I hope he ment a 10 gage cord. I wouldn't recomend running a 13 amp motor on a cord rated for 10 amps. I use a 100 ft 14 gage cord. 14 gage wire is rated for 15 amps, 12 gage for 20 amps and 10 gage for 30 amps. I find the mower runs on the 14 gage without heating the wire at all. If the wire gets hot, you are using to small of a wire. Go to a smaller gage number to carry more amps.

Answer:	No. It's not self propelled. It's very light until the bag fills up. You just need to empty the bag when it feels heavy. It's really for a smaller lawn. I wouldn't use an electric mower on a large lawn.

Answer:	Amazon's ad says 4 years. The bottom motor bearing just blew out on mine 2 months after the 4 year warranty expired so I guess I'm boned. I will probably buy the same mower again though. It has worked great up to yesterday when the motor suddenly just seized up. I borrowed my sister's 18" greenworks mower to finish the job. They both work (worked) great.
Question:	Amazon is showing a COLEMAN OUTDOOR EXTENSION CABLE 10 AMP that is frequently "bought together" with this mower. Correct that this is not enough amps
Answer:	A 14 gauge cord should be safe with a 12-amp mower. Some would recommend a 12 gauge cord if you need 100ft. The mower will have a bit more power with the heavier gauge (due to reduced voltage drop in the cord) but the cord will be heavier and more expensive.

Answer:	I also live in Western Washington and left my mower in a lean-to type shed and it did not age well. Not only did the electronic parts degrade but the plastic parts also degraded. I suggest keeping in the most climate controlled space you can.

Answer:	You should never have more than a 5% voltage drop over the length of an extension cord. Given that this is a 10-amp device, for performance, cord durability, and most importantly, safety, you should have a 16 gauge cord for 50ft (4.2%, 5 volt drop), and 12 gauge cord for 100ft (3.3%, 4 volt drop) and 150ft (4.9%, 5.9 volt drop). Always err on the side of a larger cord (smaller gauge number is larger) when dealing with electricity, even though such cords are typically more expensive. $10-$20 can be the difference between working/broken equipment or something catching on fire.
