Answer:	I believe so. I cut going forward then back instead of turning because my lawn is small. I never had a bad cut with this mower.

Answer:	I also live in Western Washington and left my mower in a lean-to type shed and it did not age well. Not only did the electronic parts degrade but the plastic parts also degraded. I suggest keeping in the most climate controlled space you can.

Given that this is a 10-amp device, for performance, cord durability, and most importantly, safety, you should have a 16 gauge cord for 50ft (4.2%, 5 volt drop), and 12 gauge cord for 100ft (3.3%, 4 volt drop) and 150ft (4.9%, 5.9 volt drop). Always err on the side of a larger cord (smaller gauge number is larger) when dealing with electricity, even though such cords are typically more expensive. $10-$20 can be the difference between working/broken equipment or something catching on fire. Question:	How long is the cord
Answer:	As several people have stated, it dosn't come with a cord. You must buy a separate outdoor extension cord long enogh for your use. One person stated he used a 100 ft 10 amp cord. I hope he ment a 10 gage cord. I wouldn't recomend running a 13 amp motor on a cord rated for 10 amps. I use a 100 ft 14 gage cord. 14 gage wire is rated for 15 amps, 12 gage for 20 amps and 10 gage for 30 amps. I find the mower runs on the 14 gage without heating the wire at all. If the wire gets hot, you are using to small of a wire. Go to a smaller gage number to carry more amps.
Question:	Is this lawn mower self-propelled
Answer:	No. It's not self propelled. It's very light until the bag fills up. You just need to empty the bag when it feels heavy. It's really for a smaller lawn. I wouldn't use an electric mower on a large lawn.

Answer:	Amazon's ad says 4 years. The bottom motor bearing just blew out on mine 2 months after the 4 year warranty expired so I guess I'm boned. I will probably buy the same mower again though. It has worked great up to yesterday when the motor suddenly just seized up. I borrowed my sister's 18" greenworks mower to finish the job. They both work (worked) great.

Answer:	I actually called GreenWorks directly to ask this question. The customer agent looked in her internal files to see the difference between 25112 and MO13B00. The MO13B00 is a newer revision of the 25112 that is -exclusive- to Amazon.com Thats why it isnt listed on the website. The newer MO13B00 has a brushless design, the deck is redesigned to an all steel design, and the motor is a newer design with newer materials. Other than that, functionality is the same. Knowing this knowledge, i purchased the MO13B00 for a brushless design and better motor lifespan.

Answer:	This is not a mulching mower. The Black and Decker 13 AMP 20" corded electric mulching mower is MM2000 - a slightly differently conformed rear area with a plastic guard that fits into the opening to close off the underside of the carriage to create the "mulching" environment for the blade. With the MM 2000, you have both options, you can either remove the plastic guard (shield) and attach the grass catcher or keep the plastic shield in place to mulch the grass. I made the same mistake but I needed the mower ASAP and so kept it. It is a powerful one, I'll grant you that, it just doesn't mulch. The mulching mower is great, and now I will have to bag my grass and dump it in in plastic bags to be trashed, pain in the you-know-what!

Question:	Can this mower be used for mulching leaves
Answer:	Yep. Using this one and the previous model, I might as well sell my rake. Just remember to go a little slower to allow the mower to mulch proper. Sometime too many leaves are on the yard, so I'll bag them, but even so, they are mulched.
Question:	What is the cutting deck (the area under the mower above the blade) made out of
Answer:	plastic. I also owned a black & decker hog mm875 and my deck has holes in it. That is a big factor in why I am not spending the money to fix it up & try to keep it going after 5 years of use--- cheap plastic parts. The cheap plastic-foam handle grips ripped the first time I used the mower. The plastic fan & a plastic, square piece called the 'blade insulator' (that is a sort of big plastic 'washer'/spacer that attaches with the blade) also broke. The plastic handle- push mechanism also came apart & I had to rebuild the parts holding it on... and it feels so cheap I don't trust it, so I don't want to put any money into fixing it up to keep it going. I could have just replaced the motor brushes, wheels, fan, blade, plastic blade insulator, knob (that screws on the handle), for $77 through an online parts store and tried to keep it going for more years, but the number one factor that ultimately decided me against it, and to just toss it after 5 years instead, is all of the cheap plastic parts that I felt were too fragile.

Answer:	There are two positions that the handle will lock in place and they are numbered 1 and 2. Number one is for short people like me and it is 40 inches from the ground to the top of the handle. Number two is 4 inches higher.

Answer:	The mower frame has 2 heights. The lowest one might be 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch. The higher setting is maybe an inch or a little over. If you're using just the trimmer, you can go as close to the ground as you want.

I grab the brush, clean off the grass, weeder goes right back into place and I’m back to mowing again. Answer:	as long as you use it like you would a regular type of mower (keep your lines straight, mow in rows) it is fine. My lawn was long the first time I did it so it took a little bit to get used to, but you can't tell the difference in my opinion. You can also adjust the string height in mower mode. Answer:	I have used ours on very thick Bermuda grass. It was a struggle but I went slowly and carefully. I have also been careful to keep it mowed down sense getting this mower and it seems to handle it better. Bermuda grass is always difficult to mow. Hope this helps.

The Mow Joe is a good product but it is being sabotaged by Amazon and unfairly reviewed for two reasons:1. The Mow Joe 14" has a 12 amp motor. Amazon is bundling it with a 16 gauge extension cord, despite the fact the manual states that for extension cord lengths under 100ft, a 14 gauge cord is required. For lengths of 100ft or more a 12 gauge cord is required (gauges work backward so a smaller gauge is a thicker wire). Trying to pull 12 amps of power through a little 16 gauge 100ft cord will burn out any electric motor pretty quick. That is why all these reviews complaining about the motor dying after a few weeks bother me. Either through ignorance or cheapness people use an under rated extension cord and blame it on the mower. Amazon could help by not recommending a cord that will destroy the motor.2. Electric mowers by nature are maintenance mowers. It is assumed that you will be cutting your grass regularly before it gets so tall you are losing small children in it. If your grass in knee high then borrow your neighbors gas mower and get it to a manageable height and then keep it maintained with your nice quiet, lightweight, electric mower. Even the powerful 12 amp motor on this mower will have big problems with out of control grass, including blade stalling and premature motor failure.In short the Mow Joe 14" is a great mower if you use it how it's designed to be used and don't abuse it."
