Answer:	This unit has rails for mounting effects and anything else with rack ears.

Answer:	You can certainly test battery voltages (all those you asked about and many many more) with the UT61E, but this is only partial information. The condition of a battery depends on the state of its internal chemistry, and the energy still stored in it. Only some battery types convey some of this information in the voltage you can measure. For lead acid type batteries (eg, car batteries) you can take a sample of the fluid in each cell and check the state of charge and a little about the condition of the battery that way. The 61E won't help with that. But then no voltage meter can. You can use the 61E to monitor the voltage (or current) but not both at the same time when charging a rechargable. The trouble is, as for many of the Li ion types, that the voltage and current will change quickly as full charge approaches and will require close monitoring (boring when you're doing it for several hours) and the 61E won't help with that really. A proper automatic monitoring charger (many aren't proper whatever they claim, and for some battery types these will be dangerous (fire or explosion are well within the bounds of possibility)) would be a better solution (and far less boring). So the answer is yes, but it's more complicated than one might think. The 61E (and any competent multimeter) will help, but isn't really adequate and won't solve the problem.
