They are synthetic but are nature identical to molecules in natural fish oil and in eating fish, especially oily fish. Only concern is the residual ethyl esters that have not been reacted with glycerol. Hopefully the company has specifications on the limits of these ethyl esters in the finished product. You never want to take a dietary supplement that contains the ethyl ester if you are pregnant or nursing. I refer to these products as "Prenatal ethanol" rather than "Prenatal DHA". You also should have a supplement that supplies arachidonic acid since it is also important in the development of the central nervous system. |

I founds Zahler's Prenatal DHA https://www.amazon.com/Zahler-Multivitamin-supplement-development-Certified/dp/B01KYBTSQQ/ref=sr_1_37_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1484063159&sr=8-37&keywords=prenatal%2Bvitamins&th=1 which is a complete prenatal that has the DHA in it. It's a great product. Has good ingredients, the pills are very small and easy to take, no fishy aftertaste. Love the prodcut. |

| Answer: | Fish oil is not really a candidate for being "organic" as the oil is molecularly distilled then turned back into rTG(a more natural triglyceride form). This distillation takes out any contaminants there might be. There are no other ingredients in here that would be candidates for needing to be organic as there is some vitamin E (but only a trace to preserve freshness of the oil), and some vitamin D3 in olive oil. Nice formula. I really wouldn't worry about this product being clean. You can also look it up on the IFOS.com website for an exact analysis. |
