Answer:	It can with stainless flux core wire, but this welder is very low quality and might not do a very good job. I would reccomend a better brand.

Answer:	It is set up for .030 wire (comes with tips and small roll of wire), but is able to use .035 wire also, but you need .035 wire tips (not expensive).I have been waiting for Amazon to answer my question as to what .035 tips are compatible with this machine.

Answer:	It can. It does require a lot of surface prep to get a good bead as it does not have a lot of power to push any dirt, grime, or paint out of the way. (Even with the best welders that is always good advice) I built a small hog trap frame out of 1 inch square tubing and so far none of the welds have broken but the tubing has bent.

Question:	Do they hold up in the rain? in case i wanted to set them up the day before a bbq i am having, in which its supposed to rain the day before
Answer:	If they get rained on once they dry they get real brittle and the weaving starts to come loose

Answer:	Rain won't hurt the wicks, but they might have a hard time lighting but the torches come with bamboo caps to place over the wicks! Rain will make the bamboo more brittle once it dries though.

Question:	Just received my patio heater,to cold to put together now, in spring when I put it together if their is something damaged will it be covered
Answer:	If I were you, I would open the box in the kitchen or living room, Inventory the parts, to see if anything is broken, then close the box, tape it up and put it together in the spring. The only breakable part is the glass tube, and mine was well protected in the box. If a part is broken, now would be the time to get it replaced-before you start putting it together and discover it three months from now!
Question:	how easy is assembly
Answer:	Very easy. May have taken 30 min at most. instructions were very good. Parts laid out in an easy to use fashion and well labeled
Question:	what are the exact specs of the heater? How tall and wide is it
Answer:	The heater is 88" tall, the heat reflector is 18" square and the base is 19" square. The Hiland Heavy Duty Waterproof Heater cover fits it perfectly. No Muss, No Fuss in covering the heater. The cover is very sturdy and looks great in Mocha color. I hope this helps!
Question:	I've heard that these style heaters don't really generate much heat. Are they as good as the heaters with the dome in top
Answer:	No doubt the dome on the top of this one is smaller than the ones that you don't see a flame. We keep ours on a screened in porch that has ceiling fans. It's amazing the heat that we feel if fans are on low. In general though, if it is simply to stay warm when temps are in the 20's, even 30's, it probably is not what you are looking for. However, we love the look and being able to see the flame, which does adjust. There are times we sit out when it is in low 60's and we turn it on low. Hope this helps.
