Answer:	Actually, we ran it for two weeks straight because my electrician temporarily wired it so I could see if we liked it and my bill was about 150$ more that month. I didn't know he wired it so I could turn it off. haha. Anyway, after that we only run them when we are out there and I love them. I haven't noticed much of a difference in my bill...maybe 50$ and we run them when we are out there. Usually in the evening for 2-5 hours about 4 nights a week. My brother-in-law bought some tiny ones and they don't do anything. If you look at the schematic of how it heats, it really does...we put them above our couches to radiate down and they work great. We got two of the biggest ones. With all that said, they are 240 amps I believe and we had to have a new box put in outside to run them.

Answer:	The light is 250 watts at 110 volts. P=EI. P = watts, E= volts, I = amps. The lamp uses roughly 2.3 amps.

Answer:	You can use a duplex switch to turn on the light only, or light with heat separately, or you can wire both together on a single pole switch for one operation turning both the heat and light on together, I believe those are the two functions referred to in the description.
