Answer:	I live in Georgia but I leave mine out all year long. I have a large clay pot that we layed down that we placed the motor inside to keep it from the elements. The outside seems to be waterproof but we didn't want to take any chances. I purchased it in June 2016.

Answer:	Please don't worry about it, the design of the diffuser and its base would make sure it would get upside down. And the bubbles would make it upright if the unit is Standing sideways

Question:	What is the maximum extension cord length one could use
Answer:	As long as you want. I have a outdoor 200 ft. cord I buried in the ground and it runs down to my pump near the pond. I do recommend that you enclose the pump is in enclosed area with a lot of ventilation and even though it says it can run 24 hrs. a day be careful, I have mine on a timer because I have had to replace my pump once because of heat issues.

Question:	how do you put the diffuser on bottom of pond with out it tipping over on it side
Answer:	You have fill the bottom with wieght then put it in the water diffuser pointed upward let weighted compartment fill with water then release it will sink diffuser up.
Question:	How much electricity do this unit draw
Answer:	I measured it with a Kill-A-Watt meter: 1.85 A and 215 watts. My system is pumping against about 6 feet of water... I'd expect the power consumption to be related to the water depth, but probably not drastically. Pete
Question:	How far away from the pond can this unit be installed
Answer:	The air line that comes with the unit is fairly long. I don't remember the exact length, but I have my compressor running in a small building about 50 feet away from the side of my pond, and the aerator itself is about 100 feet from the edge. I just dug a shallow trench to lay the air hose in from the building to the water's edge.
Question:	please advise if the compressor is loud or silent running
Answer:	I guess loud is a subjective word. I'm a mechanical engineer, and have experienced Many degrees of loudness. Considering the small horsepower rating, and the fact that the air is released far from the observer, I would consider the pump to be fairly loud. I installed mine in a homemade acoustical enclosure to quiet it down a bit. Part of the issue is the vibration that's transmitted through to the structure it's sitting on. Mine is currently on the deck in front of my home, about 20 feet from where I'm sitting. I can hear it clearly with the TV on. The vibration wiggles the bird feeders that are mounted on the deck handrails. I'll be moving it to a position underneath the deck soon, which should help a lot. It is anything but silent. This in not a criticism, it's just physics. When I design a machine that requires a low vacuum, I use a regenerative air pump to reduce the nuisance noise in an industrial environment.

Answer:	I enclosed mine in a Tupperware container with drilled holes on the sides for air flow. It is not waterproof so I wouldn't leave the air pump exposed to rain or snow. So far it works well. Koi happy.
Question:	What is ID of tubing - can this unit handle 125 ft of a 1/4" tubing
Answer:	Thanks for your question. The included tubing is 3/8" ID. Sizing the tubing down will increase the amount of friction and pressure making it harder for the compressor to push the air. I would only recommend adding about 40' of 3/8" Id tubing at the most. Going that far you'll likely need to size up the tubing to 1/2" ID. Answer:	I have installed mine in a 1500 gal outdoor pond....runs 24/7...have had no problems. Hope this helps.

Algae Blooming

Algae growth is part of the ponds and lakes ecosystem, and photosynthesis produces organics and oxygen. But when the pond is eutrophic, the algae will explode. Make your pond look a mess with bad odor and fish kill.

Answer:	I purchased the 32W pump and the output thread size is M8-1.0 (as opposed to M8-1.25 which is more standard). It is certainly not NPT threading. The adapter included is a M8-1.0 to 8mm or 5/16" hose barb and the manifold is 8mm hose barb input to six 5mm hose barbs.

Answer:	I have 2 pumps, the 793 & 950. The 793 was plunged in on March 25th, 2017 and runs 24/7 and is still running. The 950 was July of this year and still is running.

Answer:	Thanks for your question. How old is the unit? and how deep under the water does the diffuser sit? Usually decreased bubble output is linked to either a clog or kink in the airline or the pump's diaphragm wearing out. Diaphragms usually start to deteriorate after 1 year of use but this can be a shorter length of time if there is excessive back pressure on the pump (such as clogged lines, or the diffuser being too far under the water, or even if the diffuser is prone to clogging of the pond bottom is exceptionally mucky). Question:	How loud is the pump
Answer:	It makes a low humming noise. But then again I keep mine in a wood out building with my pump and filter. Best one on the market in my opinion. I own 2 of them. One is over 3 years old and still running strong. The 2nd one is for back up, because I use it all year long and never turn them off.
