Answer:	When the alarm goes off, it gets annoying after awhile, so we have pressed the alarm button within 5 minutes to turn it off. I'm pretty sure it will sound until the temperature has returned within the set range or is turned off. Just be sure to press the alarm button again when the temperature is within the range you set, to reactivate the alarm mode.

Answer:	I have mine set about 40 and 50 ft from receiver, both of which are transmitting through one exterior wall and 1 or 2 interior framed walls, with the receiver near mid point, and no problems after a couple of months. As others stated, the update is not immediate, so give it a while for the initial reading. Also, if you move the sensors, I found it helpful to take the batteries out of everything and start again - only takes a couple of minutes and gives some peace of mind. I think without heavily insulated walls, the range is probably more but have no proof.

Answer:	The correct reply is Yes, the display and the Sensor are "paired" like Blue Tooth devices. BUT, now for the bad news. Each time you replace the battery in ANY part of the system you need to perform the operation of "pairing" over again!!!Steps:1) Take all three parts, Display and both sensors and go away from the "other" sensors.2) Put fresh a battery in the Display and watch for NO Updates, takes a few moments to verify.3) Put a battery in each the sensors and watch for the "First" update to be correct.4) Leave these batteries in and walk back to the location needed.Now the new set will have a unique code and not read the "other" sensors values.The code is 32,000 values so yoiu can have MANY of these in the same place.NOTE: if you want a "copy" to be seen by Two Displays just PAIR both at the same place and time. They "Learn" from the first data point.

I find the outdoor unit battery life depends on the temps; if it is cold the battery life is a bit shorter, if warm the battery life is longer. Cannot accurately give a length of time for battery life outdoors as our rechargeable batteries have been used for over 2 years and are just not beginning to show wear and not holding their charge as long. Even rechargeable batteries need to be replaced eventually. Indoor battery life is excellent, several months to one year

Answer:	I read all of the different reviews, but decided to buy it for my mom. It never worked out of the box! Never came on. All suggestions were tried (take out both sets of batteries, then place units side by side, place batteries in outdoor sensor first, then display unit, allow units to sit side by side until they connect....NEVER connected, display unit never came on. I called the company and was told I was call 22 and it would be umpteen minutes, would I like a call back. Left a message and never received a call. Answer:	Yes, it use 2 AAA batteries.

Answer:	Very accurate same sensor used in Davis VP2 Pro stations. Temperature +/- (.36F) full scale, +/- (2%) humidity. Most SHT31's won't hit 100% humidity but neither will $800 Vaisala and why the NWS ASOS stations jumps to 100% when sensor reaches 98%.
Question:	Temperature is only in Fahrenheit unit or the unit can be changed to Celsius
Answer:	Both Fahrenheit and Celsius. This pro device responds faster to surrounding humidity level compared to the regular device and more accurate.
Question:	Can it be calibrated
Answer:	Not only can it be calibrated, it should be calibrated. Google the "salt test" for Hygromters. The salt test provides a reliable and reproducible 75% relative humidity to test the accuracy of your hygrometer. Mine was 14% off, but spot on after calibration with the salt test.

Answer:	No, this one will allow for one sensor only. You can get more advanced models that allow several sensors to be connected.

Answer:	I don't know for sure, but they would communicate on the same frequency, so it would depend on the distance between the units. I don't think they would jam or interfere with each other.

Answer:	It's a completely different tent. This is a lightweight "fair weather" 3 season tent. The Kodiak is an all weather heavy canvas shelter for a base camp. Having said that, this tent is tested for rain resistance and it's remarkable.
