Answer:	Not sure what you mean by 'waterproof' but I would say sort of? We had a big rainstorm come through and the 'Home Sweet Home' mat was fine, but it did discolored the black and white mat a little. You can easily wash it though and I think it would come out, and you can't really tell if you don't move it. Both mats are meant to be outside though. I really like these mats and recommend buying them, you CANNOT beat the price.
