Answer:	Sorry I don't know if you can. I imagine a vet would be able to help you with that question. I put it on a corn holder for my birds in my back yard.They love it!! and I think the chipmunks and squirrels don't turn up their noses at it either. Good luck!

Answer:	There are roughly 18 cobs in the bags we are producing today. However, the bags are filled on weight and not cob count. Therefore, different size cobs, or weight of each cob from crop to crop can vary the amount of ears in each 7lb bag.

Answer:	I have no idea why that is a bullet point! I've bought this for months and the squirrels love it. Maybe they're referring to loose corn kernels (of which there are inevitably a few) but I don't know what milo or millet is.

Answer:	In all honesty I have never counted ( now I will =)..) but I feel comfortable saying upwards to 20...but this is a " get what you pay for " product..I use them to feed squirrels..95 % of the ears are full of kernels ( not nearly the bare cobs I've seen in other purchases)...most every one is respectable size ( fits / is the size wire squirrel feeder )..know this is wordy...but if your intent is same as mine...I would recommend this product. hope this helped...

Answer:	According to the packaging it is finely ground corn and other "fillers" DO NOT buy this product. We have many squirrels in our mini-habitat, and they stopped going near the picnic table for corn on the cob. They barely sniffed it, even the large birds, that love corn, won't go near it. We had to replace this with a bag of regular corn on the cob. However, there must be a scent of something from the "Sweet Corn" as the squirrels will not approach the new corn I KNOW they like. I will have to clean the entire feeder and put a real cob on it before I will know for certain that it was this product that was turning off our family of squirrels. It was 100% a waste of our money. I tried to hit it with a hammer, axe, etc. to break it up thinking I could at least throw it on the ground for critters, but it can not even be broken - so as I said BAD BAD product - the Animals say so! Oh it does say it IS manufactured in Iowa, USA.

Answer:	Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes, I did get a total of 12 cobs in 6 packs of 2 each. I like it this way as they stay fresh. I am still using the cobs from my original order and they are still fresh. In the stores around me, the cobs were not fresh, some having bugs crawling all around and through the cobs. I will reorder from here when I run low.

Answer:	Mine spins, no problem. I remember it was a pain in the butt to put on the cotter pin. Mine has the metal disk that holds the "arms", and the plastic oversized thumb tack that goes in the center, thru the hole in the metal arm, and held in place with the cotter pin. Maybe you got a defective one?

What To Feed Squirrels

What is the size of the screw

Answer:

The food mounting screw protrudes approximately 1.5 inches from the table and is a #7 exterior grade wood screw. It is long enough to securely hold a dried corn cob without being so long it is difficult to get the cob on it. It holds fruit like apples well, too. The feeder also comes with 2-1/2 inch and 1-5/8 inch screws for mounting. Only one screw is needed for mounting, but it comes with two choices to be used depending on the thickness of the mounting surface (use the long screw for really thick bark). Hopefully, that helps.
