Answer:	Absolutely. They're determined. It took birds about 8 months to find the feeder and less than a month after that, the squirrel invasion. I almost did a spit take the first morning I found a squirrel folded up and chowing down in the feeder. Hazard of loving birds. I posted a video for your enjoyment. I don't hate squirrels, I just thought they would knock down the feeder with their weight, which hasn't happened yet.

Answer:	With the roof over the seed tray, the bird feeder keeps the seed dry through most weather. However, if the weather turns windy and the seed does get wet, the seed tray has holes in it to allow any water to drain through and the seed to dry out.

Answer:	The length of time it takes for the birds to find the feeders can vary on many factors, the largest being the environment that surrounds you. However, many things can be done to make the feeder something the birds find right away. First, locate a lower traffic window to start as the birds could be frightened by movement around the window. Secondly, try to mount the feeder on a window that has a nearby tree or safe haven the birds can fly back and forth to. Thirdly, birds like to be near a water source, so maybe put a birdbath or other water source near the feeders so they can access. Finally, try 2 or 3 different seeds to start as you determine the type of birds that frequent your area. I can say from our experience, we have lots of birds in our area so as soon as we put the feeders up, we had birds in the feeders within one day.

Answer:	Yes, absolutely! This feeder has four strong suction cups compared to most feeders only having 3. The extra suction cup adds a lot of strength and helps the feeder withstand all kinds of weather and high winds. We have had our 3 feeders up for months, through all kinds of weather conditions and have yet to have one fall down.
Question:	Does this bird feeder keep squirrels out
Answer:	Since this is a window mounted bird feeder it does an excellent job keeping squirrels out! It does depend a lot on where the bird feeder is placed. Make sure the feeder is mounted away from any close tree branches, structures like deck railings or mounted close to the ground where a squirrel can easily access the feeder. If you follow these guidelines you should have no problem keeping squirrels out.

Answer:	I would assume a few might, given that some stubborn mourning doves regularly tuck into mine even though it’s really too small for them. It was amusing to see them figuring out how to get to the seed (they are birds of little brain, and landing on the very top was initially their frustrated strategy). That said, the doves only tried to glean from the ground for the first year, so you may or may not get them.

Answer:	Yes..the squirrels and chipmunks have found mine and are eating all the bird seeds before the birds can get to it

Question:	Why birds are not coming? We put it in the same area where we used to have hummingbird come in the summer. We have a lot of cardinals in the yard
Answer:	Birds take a while to warm up to any feeder but *especially* to window feeders because they are closer to humans and are inherently not their favorite format. Still, if there’s not a good place in your yard to stake a feeder (or if you don’t have a yard), window feeders are great. Just realize that it might take a full season for birds to warm up to it, and some particularly skittish species might never. There is a good chance you may get just one or two species that warm up to a window feeder. Also, during the fall, your yard might have a lot of goodies like berries hidden in the foliage that they are eating. They can be seasonal diners. Finally, the type and quality of seed can be a factor. Hope that helps!
