Answer:	I don't think so. I imagine the peanut halves will clog the openings. The openings where the seed comes thru is rather small.

Answer:	I don't have a dome over mine, but it looks like the dome will fit any of the feeders as it fits over the hanger. Just an observation.

Answer:	Yes, there have been woodpeckers on the feeder, happily feeding.

Answer:	We have many Mourning Doves at our feeding area, but they feed on the ground under the feeders. I have not seen one on the Aspects 420 feeder. They sometimes ate from our old feeder (a different brand, but same type), but not too often. Squirrels seem to feed less from the Aspect 420 also. They destroyed our old feeder by chewing holes in it.

Answer:	It took my birds a couple of weeks to come to this feeder. They are suspicious of the cage. Also depends on the size of your birds. I have sparrows, purple finches, titmouse and other small birds. I also have cardinals, blue jays and mockingbirds, but they are all too big for it. It is great for keeping the squirrels out. I don't know what you are feeding, but black oil sunflower seeds seem to be favored by all.

Answer:	That's not a Belted Kingfisher. This is a feeder for seed-eaters. The feeder is weak; it works, but squirrels lift the lid to eat the seed. I clipped it closed. Not the greatest but is inexpensive.

Answer:	The birds were not interested in this seed at all. Ended up feeding the squirrels and chipmunks with it. They were not as finicky as he birds

Answer:	I bought the "greatest variety" blend when I first got my feeder. The birds liked that but they go crazy over this stuff. It's rare that I don't have three or even four birds on one tiny feeder. Cardinals, finches, jays, cowbirds, just about everyone comes by for a snack. I even saw a pileated woodpecker once, though he seems to have moved on. I live in the center of the mid-Atlantic states in a fairly densely populated subdivision surrounded by strips of trees.

Question:	Can the bottom be removed for cleaning
Answer:	No. But has 4 holes for a hanging tray.

Answer:	The pegs are too small for cardinals to perch on. They will feed on what the other birds drop. Squirrels destroyed mine.
Question:	I live in las vegas where it is extremely hot. i am concerned that the metal perches will get too hot for the birds. could this be an issue
Answer:	I don't see why not if it is a big cage. I actually use parakeet/finch seed in my feeder outdoors and the wild birds love it to.
Question:	will this feeder work for Millet for Painted Buntings? or would a finch feeder for Nyjer work better
Answer:	Thistle or Niger seed is tiny. Those feeders have just a tiny slot for birds like Goldfinch. Others can't get to them except destructo the squirrel. Squirrel guard above seems to work if hanging on wire.
