Answer:	Odd question because I don't know the length of your Hummingbirds's bills...But, the distance between top ledge of feeder to bottom is almost 1.5" And just because bird has a bill/tongue that Can cover a given distance doesn't mean it will put that part up to the hilt for a feeding. This is not a screw that has to reach a 2 x 4 and first pass through wallboard. Suggests insensitivity to providing clean, fresh nectar routinely so that feeder is never less than 1/2 full and nectar never more than a few days old. So lick the feeder clean for this buyer, birdies!
Question:	are nectar guard tips available for this feeder. I bought this feeder and bees are all over it. Other feeder with guard tips help

The thing works marvelously to clean every part of my feeder.
Question:	This,I think, will be great to use once I get the fasteners off the wire where it was attached to the card. I tried a knife and scissors....no luck

Sometimes I use one of my pliers with the cutting edge-that would cut through something stubborn like that. Answer:	This is small, 2 ounces. I had problem with ants getting in my feeder and of course this made the birds leave. I put cooking oil in mine as water evaporates very quickly and you have to monitor it often to replace the water whereas the oil stays. This works great!
