Answer:	The sides are made of metal. I brought this grill down to the Florida Keys and cooked on it for 12 straight night. It was able to do whatever I ask her to do. If you need it to cook low and slow it did it. If you needed to sear something did that also. As long as you got some grilled intellect this little cooker handles food like something much bigger

Answer:	Has the regulator been reset? If the grill is turned on or off incorrectly it can cause the safety device in the regulator to trip. This will cause a low flow and the regulator will need to be reset. This is an easy procedure that involves unhooking the regulator from the propane tank for a minute and then reattaching and following the lighting instructions on your grill. Answer:	It is copper color. It's made of about 18 or 20 gauge cold rolled steel. Very nicely made and substantial. I just wanted something different than black or red. This is a fantastic grill by the way.

Answer:	Yes, it comes with side trays and the grill grate has two flaps that lift up and you can add more charcoal and wood as needed. You may want you youtube it before you make your purchase to make sure this will work for you. I have smoked chicken on this and it is excellent.

Answer:	I am a meat cutter, and I cook rib roasts a lot! 15 minutes on both sides is not long, this is needed to sear the outside, and start rendering out all the heavy fat of a standing rib. I will say that at 500, you will have to watch it! Rib roasts are fatty, high heat will cause flare ups. After that lower the heat, the more you take your time, the better the results. Most smokers, the manuals will tell you, are essentially slow cookers with smoke. That’s how they work best. The Davy Crockett can also grill quite well, but it’s a bit different than using a regular grill. This is the nature of most pellet grills I’ve seen. I must add; I love my GMG! It took a little time to learn how it’s best used, but the results have been delicious!

Question:	When i use my grill sometimes i'll turn off the burners then back on. sometimes they turn on very low. anyone else
Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. Our griddles have a safety feature with the regulators. If the propane was not turned off completely or in the exact steps, the regulator will prevent much gas flow from going through the regulator the next time. I have noticed that our recent batch of regulators are more sensitive than they have been in the past. You might try turning removing the propane tank and then reattaching it. This should reset the regulator from the above mentioned safety feature. Also, there are air gates at the front of each burner that can be adjusted to your preference. They control the air to gas ratio. There is a small silver screw at the front of the burner tube that you can loosen and then you can slide the gate more open or closed depending on your preference. We typically have the air gates half closed or even 3/4 of the way closed. I hope this helps.
