Question:	Can this be used for a drinking water hose
Answer:	Unless otherwise specified, I have found that all hoses are NOT drinking water safe. Some even, or I should actually say most, contain chemicals known to cause cancer and other birth defects. Look for the CA Prop 65 warning or for a hose that says specifically “drinking water safe”. To be most certain for myself and my family, we only drink out of a reverse osmosis filter, there are too many contaminants and toxins in tap water and a plastic and/or chemical coated hose is definitely going to add more.

Answer:	The reel can accommodate both 3/4" (100') and 5/8" (150') hose. I just don't remember if there's a special fitting that is required. I'm thinking not because I think both hoses have the same threaded ends.

Answer:	Ugh. Made in China. I am here because I am looking to replace the damaged intake hose on the one I bought in 2003 which was made in the USA. Mine has been out year round through blizzards and such, and had it's axle bent when someone backed a car into it, something I straightened with a hammer. Answer:	There are no brakes on this cart. If you need to use it on a hill, you would want the cart to be below where you will be watering, with the wheels pointing across the slope of the hill so that you can pull the hose out without tipping the cart over sideways, and so the cart doesn't roll down the hill. If you have to pull the hose out on a down slope, you may have to pull out the hose by hand, one arm's worth at a time, while holding the cart upright.

Answer:	I have 2 reels. Each has a 50’ stainless steel hose with room for another 50’. Keep in mind the reels are made for 75’ of hose. My stainless hoses are more narrow width than typical rubber hoses. I LOVE my low profile reel, had to get a second one!!

Answer:	If you want to or buy new. You will need a short hose and a long hose. I use this for our camper, with a 6' hose and a 50' hose, that's about the max. size hose you can use with this reels.
