I used a short hose to reach from the spout to the wall mounted hose reel and then added a 75' hose to coil around the reel. It has worked very well and I'm very pleased with the performance.

Answer:	Yes the leader hose connects to the spicket but before you get rid of the box - check to make sure the product connects properly and doesn’t leak. Very cheaply made.

Answer:	I really like this item. It is easy to use and the hose rolls up very nicely. It comes with the the hose that connects from the faucet to the roller. Then you have to connect the garden hose to the roller. The garden hose does not come with the item, just the attachment hose from the faucet to the item. Hope this helps you out. Answer:	It's a dark grey in color. Works great due to the swivel out to use and swings away to store. I installed it against a beige house and it looks great.

Answer:	yes you can but you have to hold on tightly to the reel because the arm connected to the reel does not lock into place, making winding the hose difficult. There is an elbow that swings the reel out and in.

Answer:	The bracket is about 18" long, and the mounting holes are 16" on center. However, this product is one of the most grossly, and I would add purposely, misrepresented listings on Amazon. The photos show that can be mounted with the hinge on either left OR right, but this is NOT the case. It can ONLY be mounted with the hinge on the left. This is fine if most of your work is towards the right of the reel, but it does not work at all if the hose is pulled out toward the left. It cost me $20 to return it, and Amazon refuses to clarify the listing despite numerous requests. Believe the poor reviews.

Answer:	This is precisely what’s keeping me from buying it. We have amazing pressure and 3/4” hoses/faucet. No way I’m downsizing with a smaller diameter output.

Answer:	My hose reel of this exact type sits in the sun. It gets very hot. I've not seen a problem with the reel. I'm more concerned with the hose being able to handle hot water. If it does, be careful to not wind when hot or you could cut the water flow off if the hose was wound too tightly.
Question:	How well does this mount to vinyl siding
Answer:	The reel is heavy so you will need to make sure you have solid wood backing behind the siding to anchor it to and unless you used some type on spacers at the variations in the siding you would crush the siding. The attachement bars on the reel are at holes 16" on center.I have aluminum siding and installed a 4x6 in the ground with 2x4 crossbars to attach the reel to avoid the hassle of dealing with the siding. Answer:	Yes. I mounted mine into the mortar (between the bricks). Could also be mounted INTO the brick. Either way, use anchors made to do this. Available at your favorite hardware store. I don't recommend concrete screws.
