User questions & answers

Question: Would it be difficult to plug the holes
Answer: Depends on how "fine" the scratches are. On my dark blue car, the really minute scratches seem to disappear, but they are not removed. Only a compound polish will remove those, but this wax does cover up the smallest scratches. What this product really does is put on a layer of wax on your car, between washes. I usually put on a paste wax polish on the car every 4 - 5 washes. Depending on the season, car gets washed every week to 10 days, depending on the grime that shows up. Best bet to remove fine scratches is to use the Mequiar's DA polishing kit, also found on Amazon.
Question: Is the color like a terra cotta or more red
Answer: it depends on how generous you want to be with it really. but one bottle should last you a fair while. because you don't have to apply too much of it to get your job done.
Question: The measurements state it is 12" but I'm assuming that is from outside to outside. What is the diameter inside the rim
Answer: Quik Wax is spray on, wipe off (while still liquid). Ultimate Liquid Wax seems to require a drying period. It's also not a spray, more of a liquid-paste. Ultimate Liquid Wax looks like more work than QW. Probably leaves a much thicker coat of wax though.
Question: What is the maximum weight that can be placed on it
Answer: Hi! I dont know how deep is the bracket. We used it to hang our 60inches pioneer plasma which is pretty heavy. And we didnt have a problem with this bracket. Hope that helps.

ARIANA COLLECTION by Bloem: The Ariana planter will quickly become one of your favorite pots because it helps keep your plants from drying out and will reduce the time you spend watering. Inside the planter there is a hidden reservoir located at the bottom of your pot and holds approx. 1”-3.5” (depending on planter size) of water. This self-watering insert keeps dirt and roots above the hidden reservoir while constantly providing healthy “greenhouse-like” moisture through the evaporation process. How a Self-Watering Planter Works: When big drainless pots are given more water than the plant can use right away, the water settles to the bottom and the potting mix begins to rot, eventually becoming a stinky, waterlogged mess that will kill plant roots. But inside Bloem's self-watering planter, the potting mix is held above the water line by a sturdy screen. The water chamber is connected by small porous channel filled with soil, which then acts as a wick. As water is used by the plant or evaporates from the surface of the soil, capillary action draws more water up from below. The soil has just the right amount of water all the time, but also maintains air pockets, which the plant roots need to stay healthy. Save you time by reducing watering frequency and provides a consistent water supply that helps plants thrive Perfect solution for going on vacation and busy schedules Potting mix is held above water chamber and connected by small porous channels filled with soil which act like a water wick through the evaporation process Top width 21.5" (x) base width 12" (x) 17" height Matte finish is perfect for resisting scratches, dirt, and fingerprints 100% UV stabilized polypropylene plastic ensures long lasting color and withstands extreme weather conditions + BPA free When to add drainage holes? While various kinds of plants have different drainage needs, few can tolerate sitting in stagnate water for extended periods of time. If exposed to intense periods of rainfall or storms, your soil may not be able to absorb or evaporate the water fast enough. When the pot is in an unsheltered location we recommend punching out drainage holes. The process is extremely quick and easy with the right tools. Flip pot upside down and locate areas marked “X” for recommended hole locations. Then punch out holes by using either a drill with a drill bit or a hammer and a nail. The process should only take a minute or two, then the pot will be ready to fill with potting soil and plants of your choice.

  • Sealed bottom to prevent leakage indoors. Optional knock-out drainage holes when used outdoors.
  • Constructed of high-quality durable plastic resin. Maintenance free and easy to clean. UV-protected for fade resistance.
  • Includes 1 - Bloem Ariana Self Watering Planter 20" Chocolate Brown

User questions & answers

Question: How much potting soil would this planter hold
Answer: Those that I purchased were the typical terra cotta shade of plastic. I have never seen these in the red color shown in the picture.
Question: Can anyone take a guess at how much water the reservoir holds? 2-3 quarts? A gallon
Answer: "inside the rim" is 11"
Question: What size saucer is best for this planter
Answer: My 16" Caddys are rated @ 125 lb.I'd guess the 12" Caddy to be rated similarly.
Question: does it remove all the water or just overload
Answer: Too many variables. Spray waxes in general last between 2 to maybe as many as 6 weeks, depending on the product. I'd say this would be toward the upper end of that. However, spray waxes are meant to be enhancement products rather than the base protectant. In my opinion, the best protection going right now are Griots sealants and Meguiars Fast Finish. Use one of those products and follow it up on maintenance washes with this or another spray wax.

User questions & answers

Question: Has anyone had any problems with the wheels scratching indoor wood flooring
Answer: Barbara, so sorry, I never used this pot. I would think just fill it until it starts running over? Good luck! Juanita
Question: Does it have slats or are there grooves which hold excess water
Answer: I'd go with 16" or 18" size, maybe try: Bloem SDC16-60 Dura Cotta Plant Saucer, 16-Inch, Peppercorn :). Good luck!
Question: What is the exact total height of this
Answer: I have 18 of this type of pots. Instead of worrying about overload causing the root to rot, I drill 3/8" of holes just at the water holding tray line. So that once the water fill up pass the line, it will drain out of the side. Works great for me.
Question: do you think its strong enough for a 200 lbs plant
Answer: Mine.... did not come with any holes.

User questions & answers

Question: Will these last a while? I have Fiskars original and after cutting a lot of suckers the blades just aren't as sharp after only 2 months
Answer: I have had these tiny Fiskars for at least 5 years and they are still plenty sharp. You might consider contacting Fiskars as they stand behind their products, having replaced some loppers I bought awhile back.
Question: Can I use these to cut candle wicks
Answer: Why not, they are really sharp.
Question: Is the non-stick coating worth the extra cost
Answer: I find the non-stick coating on the cutting blades very helpful as this means they do not need as much cleaning as other pruning snips / cutters that I have used. I think the coating helps to keep it sharp. Whether it is the coating or the metal they used to make the blades, this snip is very, very sharp and cuts cleanly. I find it very useful for more refined work such as snipping leaves, ornamental grasses, soft plant stems, etc. which secateurs have a tough job handling because they are too big for the job or do not cut as cleanly. The only problem I have is the blades keep locking shut together when I grip /hold the handles too close to the orange lock while using the snip. But it does not feel natural to grip / hold the handles near their ends further away from the orange lock because of the shape of the handles - could have been more ergonomically designed.
Question: where is it made? Somewhere in Europe or China
Answer: These are made in China. I wish Amazon had a policy about listing where things were made. Had I known, I would have bought something else.

User questions & answers

Question: is it really taupe in color
Answer: that might be a little too heavy... the plant and concrete container i have on it is about 100# and much more i don't think it would hold... the casters would give way before the plastic. i think they have a bigger one?
Question: For the 20" saucer, the opening diameter of 17.05", is it internal or outer diameter at the top? Thanks
Answer: it is a large planter and holds a lot of soil. Sixteen quart bag was not nearly enough soil. The planter was too big for my use.

User questions & answers

Question: Will this handle outdoor environment? I can drill holes if necessary
Answer: Internal. The 20" diameter is the top. The sides are kind of tapered.
Question: what kind of plastic is this made of
Answer: I have not and I do have wood flooring. The plastic wheels I suppose could scratch if you have soft wood and have something VERY heavy.
Question: I will be using this indoors. Do you suggest putting in the holes to help prevent root rot & buying a tray then
Answer: It has slats that water goes through, not grooves that hold the excess water.
Question: How much water can fit in the reservoir of the 12" pot
Answer: From the Product details on the Product page: Product Dimensions: 15 x 15 x 2.8 inches ; 1.5 pounds

User questions & answers

Question: are these made in china
Answer: YES they are made in China. The build quality of them isn't what it used to be lol I recently bought a pair a few months ago and the spring went flying off, a month later I found the spring and put back together but they were never quite the same again. but I have two pair from the early 2000's that are still working. They just don't make them like that anymore
Question: Is the length really 10.75"? My current Fiskars snip is 6" and look like this product
Answer: I don't know if your question is about the same snips I bought. This is the measurement of mine { blade is 1 3/4 inches}. The {overall length is 5 3/4 inches}.
Question: does this cut woody stems
Answer: Scissors are very small. Trying to cut woody stems would ruin the blades. These are more for indoor use.
Question: The snips work well but the spring quickly lost its tension. Where do you get a replacement spring
Answer: I had a similar scenario happen to me, they do have replacement springs right here on Amazon directly from Amazon Prime. Look up Glittering Bazaar. They have a 2 pack for $6.99. Hope that helps
