Answer:	The end cap of the light unscrews, and there is a rechargable stick battery. You won't ever have to remove the battery unless you have to replace it; because the light comes with charger, or you have a spare battery stick. As far as what type of battery? Just type in search; replacement battery pack for stream light stinger, and you can get cheaper aftermarket. (not suggested). or you can buy oem standard from stream light.

Question:	Is there a system to mount this overhead - so the projection will focus onto my desk top
Answer:	If there is, I am not aware. This is not a computer plugged in projector. This is a manual projector where you put the image in and it makes it larger on the wall or some other larger object. You would most likely have to create a mount for it if you are looking to use it for that purpose, though I would not recommend it. It seems like it would be amazingly difficult to adjust the positioning and allot for all the small adjustments if it were mounted over your head. Not to mention a little dangerous. Best use is to place the smaller image in the projector, and line up on a wall and adjust till it is the size/focus you want.
Question:	do I have to tear images out of a book to copy or can I just scan the book somehow
Answer:	As long as the book will lie flat when open, I think you could just use the book. It would really depend on the size and shape. The area that scans the picture isn't that big and, like a photocopy machine, it works better when the top closes over the image.
Question:	is it easy to copy an image from a thick bound book? I'm trying to figure out how big of an image I can copy and then project onto the wall
Answer:	What I have done with that type of image is scan the picture on my computer and print the image to a more usable size ... 4x6 or 5x7 seems to work best. On this projector a larger image would have to be moved and readjusted by section ... possible but would be hard to keep it alined. If the image you are going to project fits the projection plate you are going to have a better result in you overall image.
Question:	can this project an image into cavas or wall as a mural, and how big
Answer:	I use it to project on canvas, I paint with oils .. you can project on the wall remember you have to reverse the lens ... pull it out and reverse it ... this is a small home budget projector .. so you will have focus it by hand ... just take your time and you can get the the image you need . For large images move the projector back, then focus the lens ... darken the room for gaining a detailed image. I have mine placed on an adjustable table. Use a darkened room for practice, play with different images and sizes. This way you will know the limits of this type of projector.

Question:	this projector has horizontal keystone
Answer:	No. It is not a short throw projector. I have a 144" Free-standing screen and I have to get about 15-20 feet away to get the correct picture size. You'll find that will vary because of the focusing ring and variable sizing ring around the lens. Wonderful picture but not short throw.
Question:	Can you adjust ratio size from 16:9 to 4:3 (depending on screen type) on this projector
Answer:	You'll need to hang it upside down, but you'd want to in any case, so you can see the power light.
Question:	How loud is the fan? Noticeable during quiet parts of movies
Answer:	Both should be great for color accuracy, but the HC1200 has an sRGB mode for the most accurate colors. From reading the HT3050's review on projectorcentral.com, I did not see any mention of it having an sRGB mode, so I would have to give the nod to the HC1200 for color accuracy. BTW, the HC1200 is marketed as a business projector w/ accurate colors, while the HT3050 is a mid-level home theater projector...which will have good colors by definition (of this product category).

Answer:	This is absolutely false. You do need a 3D capable dvd/blu-ray player to play 3D, but the projector does 3D.
