Answer:	This does take a little bit more elbow grease than you would normally think, especially if its the first time using it in a particular area. I found that you need to make sure that the blade is not resting on the pavement or asphalt. This can bend the blade and cause it not to spin. Occasionally, you will need to straighten the blade if it is bent. To verify that the tool will work fully rotate the wheel, if it spins with no issues it should work to edge your grass. Also important to know is the fixed metal piece cuts the grass and the rubber wheel should travel along the hard surface and the spiked wheel along the hard surface's edge. Finding the hard surface edge can be tricky first time you use this. Good luck.
Question:	where can i get replacement rubber for the wheels
Answer:	I am not sure of any place to get replacement rubber wheel covers. I have had this problem three times within three years. The first two times Ames Customer Service had me return it to Lowes for complete replacement, which they did, but seemed like a big waste (and it meant a special trip to Lowes). This time I asked them (this is all via email via their website) about replacement wheel covers and they said they do not have them, but requested I take photos since they have a 15 year warranty. I am awaiting a response, but I am assuming they will either replace the whole thing - or not - but not that they will send replacement wheel covers.

Answer:	NO this trimmer won't cut anything. It's a piece of low quality junk. Mine failed to even cut 10 feet of Bermuda grass along my curb before the blade bending and blocking the wheel to even turn. Therefore, I don't feel that you would find it satisfactory.

Answer:	TIP: this is a cutter, not a shovel & should not be used for shoveling or lifting out grass/sod like you would with a shovel. For best results, place the blade next to the sidewalk to be trimmed, with shaft straight up vertically against the edge of the sidewalk, then stomp straight down on the edger shearing off any overhanging grass or sod. Repeat this cutting process along the sidewalk until finished. Then with a regular shovel easily scoop up the trimmed grass/sod & dispose.

Answer:	There is no need to regrind the cutting edges if you do not use it for clipping off surface weeds without pulling them out. (If the roots remain they will probably grow back) I use the tool for penetrating the soil next to the weed and pull out the weed along with the root. The surface on the tool ( the hook) has a blunt edge that will not need sharpening.

Answer:	I have worked on electric motors a number of times, contact Black and Decker to obtain brushes. If they will not or do not respond contact an electric motor repair shop in your community they can help you.
