These are heavy duty and I have them on all my snow shovels (I live in Minnesota) Just install it sort of loose, so it will slide up and down on the handle, bend over like you normally would when grabbing the shovel to lift the snow. Question:	Just to verify, are the handles aluminum or steel? I ask b/c I ordered a similar one a few years ago and the handles were steel
Answer:	I am quite sure the handle is steel. I borrowed a neighbor's "look-alike" before purchasing this one and it was very flimsy. The Corona works very well and is sturdy.
Question:	how long and far apart are the tines
Answer:	The tines are about 2 inches long and about 3/4 inch apart.
Question:	why cant i twist the handle to open? I just got it today, and cant extend the handle, its as if someone used locktite on it
Answer:	Thank you D Rufino - I was about to send this rake back because I thought I tried everything to open but your instructions magically made rake extend. The instructions on the rake were completely useless - at least for me!!!!
Question:	how wide is the rake portion
Answer:	The rake is 4.75 inches wide. What is this about 6 inches or seems to be 8 inches? Don't any of you have a tape measure?
