Answer:	Fill the upper section with straw and they will lay there. Problem with this unit is that it only houses 2 full grown chickens. It is very well made and easy to put together. It looks very attractive in the yard.

Answer:	you need front remote hydraulics to open/close the grapple. your local dealer will be able to install for you but it's not cheap. i don't know much about your machine but this grapple weighs roughly 400+lbs by itself and may be a bit large for your kubota.

Answer:	I think either the 60" or 72" Grapple Bucket would be fine as there is only a 50 lb weigh difference between the two, but if you are worried about the weight, I would suggest the 60" Grapple.

Answer:	It will if the loader has the universal quick-tatch plate (bobcat, nh, case etc)

Answer:	All I can tell you is that I have one on a Kubota SSV65 skidloader, 65 horsepower. The Kubota handles it quite well, I'm very happy with the grapple. I added a plate to protect the hydraulic hoses in a spot.

Answer:	Don’t have exact dimensions any more. It stands about 4 ft high, maybe 2 ft wide and 3-4 long(?). It’s pretty flimsy wood but it is cute. The wind here in Idaho knocks it over , tack it down.

Answer:	I have this and it is great. Two locking doors and the easiest thing I have ever put together. With the lower and upper doors latched, they are caged in. I go out and release them into my yard. Also a locking latch on the laying compartment in the back. A little smaller than I imagined, so no more than the 4 hens I have in it. Enjoy and hey, I don't normally pump up products, but this is a keeper.

Answer:	Dear Luna, You can adjust the evening closing by turning the potentiometer (test button) clockwise towards the moon icon and turning on switches 1 and/or 2 inside the drive unit. Turning on the switch 1 will cause the door to close 30 min after sunset, and switch 2 will close 60 min after sunset. Turning on both switches will make the door to close 90 min after sunset. Answer:	Thanks for the question! I'm afraid so. However, you can try to somehow shade the LDR sensor so that it does not receive direct light from the side of the light. We resolved such a situation with clients in two ways. One was: by shading the LDR sensor from direction of your automated light. Others: Pull the Light sensor to the place where is natural light without interference Minimal modifications are required here. The LDR sensor is glued on the inside with 2 wires, which can be easily detached from the wires, cut and extended. So you have an extended sensor that detects day/night light, which you mount on the outside place location with natural light without interference. In any case, you have a full warranty. Answer:	I keep 4 full size chickens in my coop but it will hold 6 or 7 of the smaller kind. I could put 5 big chicken but I like my chickens to have lots of room so 4 rode island reds is good for me

Answer:	It will probably hold up ok in snow and rain if sealed. We built and reinforced with construction adhesive and much bigger screws. We live in Oregon so we get a lot of rain. Because of that we reinforced around the bottom with 2×4s so it wouldn't be sitting in wet dirt. The only thing that the rain has effected so far is the door has swollen a bit and makes it a little tough to close. We have 3 large black australorps that use it and I think it's a good size for them. I see that sebrights are pretty small so 6 may fit in there ok. We added a higher up natural roosting stick that ours seem to prefer as the ones that come with it are very low in the coop.

Answer:	So I have had this happen, it’s really not the device. Two things it could be off the top are low batteries and clean out and then oil the rails and really make sure it has no resistance to slide down. Don’t forget too when you change the battery you need to reset the door again like a new setup
Question:	Does the LED blinking light give any indication when the batteries are getting low and need to be changed
Answer:	Yes, with new batteries it will blink approx every 10 seconds. With low batteries, it will blink approx every 3 seconds. You should change them at this point. Remember to start with the door at the top (open) position when you put the new batteries in for best results. You are essentially repeating the set up process that you did when first installing the automatic chicken door kit. Thanks!
Question:	how does it work if you mount it on the south wall , refering to sunrise and sunset light
Answer:	It typically works very well. West and south are the best sides to mount if you are going to use the light sensor mode. If using the timer, it really doesn't matter which side it's on. Thanks!
Question:	Could this be mounted to 1/4" wire mesh on the run, or does it need to be mounted onto plywood
Answer:	There’s a chance it could work. My biggest concern is that the rails need to be spaced at 8 inches apart on the inside dimension. If it’s bigger the door could fall out of the tracks and if it’s smaller the door would bind. You could cut out a larger square of plywood (24”x 10”) and cut the door opening in it. Question:	Would this be sufficient enough to heat the inside of my car in the winter months
Answer:	If you are asking about winter storage for your car to keep it from getting musty, that might work. Sort of like heat sticks for gun safes and pianos for the dampness. If your asking about living in your car, it wouldn't be warm enough for me.
Question:	House for stray cats...does this heater need to be clear of all bedding? is there a chance of fire
Answer:	I have mine in a cat house with towels and a cat bed around it. The towels touch it. It's uncomfortably hot to touch on high, but doesn't burn my hand so I felt it was safe. I've not had any issues with it so far.
Question:	Do you have to worry about this being to close to the chickens? Do you have to mount it where they cant get to
Answer:	The answer to both questions is No according to the instructions. I did place mine on a wall so the chickens don't poop on it. It sits just above their heads while roosting. It also heats objects. Also it will only heat to about 45 degrees which is the highest temp you want for chickens. If the chickens get too hot they move away from it. The panel is not hot but warm to the touch. I find it to be very safe easy to install. Haven't had -30 degree weather yet. It has been in the 20's here at night and I really do love the product. Safe for everyone.
Question:	When will the built in thermastate turn on and shut off
Answer:	I couldn’t find this information either so I emailed the company and asked. This is their reply “Thank you for your inquiry. The internal thermostat does not automatically shut the unit off or on; it only regulates the temperature of the unit to maintain 140F. The unit will ONLY shut off if it overheats to above 180F; this product must be manually turned on and off.”
