Answer:	I don't know. But I can tell you they didn't hold up well at all. Within a few weeks or so they started leaking and didn't hold up well to the birds (a couple came apart). Basically I just tossed the whole bucket system and will not purchase these again.

Answer:	Depends on if you are wearing clothes underneath. I am 5'10, 180 and bought the XL. Glad I did because it allows me to wear jeans and a shirt underneath with plenty of room. It's long, but I'd rather go larger than have it too tight.

Answer:	Hi JJ. Yes this veils is self-supporting. It is supported by three robust supports that run from shoulder to shoulder and over the top of the head, to form the shape of the veil. This is however designed to attach to either our beekeeping suit or jacket and shouldn't be used independently.

Answer:	With just height and weight measurements it is difficult to say, as weight is not a good indicator of shape or size. To determine how the suit would lay and if you have ample room for movement we would need to know your chest and waist measurement. • Collar to Crotch - To Determine Length of Suit Needed• Waist & Chest Diameter - To Determine Width of the Suit Needed• Add 1 Inch (2.5cm) to your measurements, for a comfortable suit that will give you ample room to moveBased on these we will be able to help you choose your ideal size.In short if you are of lean build then the XL would be ample (I'm 6'1 175lb and wear the Lrg), but if you are stockier than the 2XL might be the better option. Question:	Can you guys tell me if you still like the suit, and have you been stung? Would you still buy it again
Answer:	It’s an issue on mine. I have the largest size they sell. My husband has the medium and the brim is bigger. Since he doesn’t tend to the bees I just swapped them out. I wish it was a bigger. I like the overall suit a lot but if you’re in an area that has ticks you have to wear tick protection too.
Question:	what size should i order? 5'6 and 130 lbs
Answer:	Beekeeping suits have non-washable veils plus zippers, elastic, and velcro that can get snagged on the agitators in washing machines. Therefore we generally advise customers not to machine wash their beekeeping suits and instead spot clean by hand.If you would like to machine wash your suit, then we recommend you remove the veil, close the zippers, fasten the velcros, turn the suit inside out, and place the suit in a garment washing bag. Then wash your suit, in the garment bag, on the gentlest cycle and hang it to dry.

Answer:	I'm 6'3" 185lbs and the XL fits me well.
Question:	has anyone gotten stung while using this suti
Answer:	Yes! I have been stung! My hive was knocked over by a tree in a bad storm. My bees were ok while I cleared the area with a chain saw, but when I tried to set the boxes upright, they decided to attack! I ended up with 15 stings on my arms and legs. I picked out 157 stingers out of the suit, so maybe 15 wasn't so bad. What was worse was finding 2 bees inside the veil. Closer inspection showed a dozen small tears in the mesh material hidden in the folds.

Answer:	NO. This suit is NOT a suit of armor. It is for use with Honey Bees.

Answer:	Yes, there are zippers near your ankles to ensure the tight fit.
Question:	The height is listed, but how determine the size of the waist
Answer:	Beekeeping suits have non-washable veils plus zippers, elastic, and velcro that can get snagged on the agitators in washing machines. Therefore we generally advise customers not to machine wash their beekeeping suits and instead spot clean by hand. If you would like to machine wash your suit, then we recommend you remove the veil, close the zippers, fasten the velcros, turn the suit inside out, and place the suit in a garment washing bag. Then wash your suit, in the garment bag, on the gentlest cycle and hang it to dry. Attached you will find the instructions showing how to remove and reattach the veil. I hope this is helpful.

Question:	How is your peripheral vision w/ the hood? I am a 1st year beekeeper & have the old style jacket w/wide brimmed hood. It slips forward on my head
Answer:	It's hard to say the size listed aren't always correct. I know it's a pain in the butt to return one. I would start with a XX Large. I weight 245 and mine was to small.

Answer:	Yeah the hood zips off, takes a little thinking to put it back on, but not hard. Yes been stung, no suit is "sting proof". Fit is short height wise so go big. But is a good suit all in all. Will be getting another.

Question:	Wonder when/if the company has listened to the many reviews about the brim being too small allowing the veil to touch the face. It is still an issue
Answer:	This hood/ with jacket stays in place. Mostly I'm looking straight ahead, but thinking about peripheral vision, I didn't notice it was an issue. The hood is stiff, so it doesn't fall fwd or stick to your face if you bend down. Hope that helps?
Question:	Is this machine washable
Answer:	You know that is a difficult question to answer because this jacket is both for men and women. I would say it is a true large men's? I bought the large and I'm a women, 165 lbs, 5'8 tall, size 14....I'm kinda medium-large and the size large fits me the way I want it too..Not tight, I have room, but not loose and the wrists and hem are elasticized. Hope that helps...if I were to get one for my husband, who has a belly, wide shoulders, size 44 pant I would get him an XL.
