Answer:	I haven't done any measurements on my trailer lift but your figures seem accurate from my use of said lift.

Answer:	Yes, it does. It comes with long bolts and brackets so you are able to "sandwich" the frame of your trailer between the brackets and the unit.

Answer:	I don’t believe they would work. You have to tie them through something. We have ours tied taunt through the mesh medal work on the swim deck of our houseboat.
Question:	What is the diameter of the fixed lower barrel
Answer:	the top of the bumper might be too short to hang over your tubes nicely. Unless you can hang it over just right... might fit oddly.
