Answer:	I would recommend you give these a shot, just so you get the hang of using fountain pens again. When I first started to use FPs, I used a very heavy hand-a habit from the ballpoint and rollerball days. Thankfully, I was only using disposable pens so I didn't end up ruining the nibs.Although I've moved on to more expensive pens, I still keep these around. They're good value for money and are good writers as well.

Answer:	If it is like the earlier 40sl, the battery is plugged in. Removing a bunch of little screws and unscrewing the tail cap gets you inside. If AP sells a replacement it is a snap. Otherwise you would have to source an unptotected 18650 and salvage the plug off the old one. I suspect there is no internal parts support. It is better than the clones with soldered on batteries and protection in the battery ir maybe on the circuit board.

Question:	Does the pen come with the converter or is that sold separately
Answer:	Can't blame them, it's a heavy item. I paid around £50 for international.
Question:	Does the pen come with a converter
Answer:	Apex Tool Group owns both KD Tools and Gearwrench brands. The KD Tools name was dropped in 2014 and all KD Tools are now sold as Gearwrench.
Question:	Made in China
Answer:	They look to be a "one time use bolt", when you look onto the hole you see the nut that has a "Y' looking slot in the top and you can see the bolt in the center of that 'Y' and the end of the bolt is broken off. Once the bolt is tightened to a certain torque the head of the bolt snaps off to prevent being taken apart. You will have to drill it out if you want it removed.
Question:	What converter does this pen take
Answer:	I'm not sure, but the quality seems very good to me. I paid $236 for mine, which is higher than the current price, and feel like I got a good deal. There aren't many sets that have the larger sizes this set has in metric (which I needed for a specific job). And also this set has a pretty large proportion of 6-sided sockets, which for most purposes are better/stronger than the other ones.
