The Pentel Energel is just as good, maybe even a little more of a smother writter than the Pilot G2. And I'm a life long diehard Pilot G2 user, & lover! I gave this pen to my nephew, and bought the Everyman Grafton just so I could continue using my beloved Pilot G2 refills.

Answer:	No coating at all, pure brass!

Answer:	It appears to me that it's made of real, solid, heavy brass. I believe, too, that there's a lacquer coating to prevent my hand from smelling like oxidizing brass as i use the pen and sweating on it which would oxidize and make the pen less valuable to me. It could probably be removed so you'd get your desired effect. Really, though, is a 20.00 pen worth this much time??? Buy one, if it's not to your liking, give it to someone who'd appreciate a quality product.

Question:	Where is this Made
Answer:	Have not broken glass. Found pen today. the spring is broken and the clip broke off in 30 days. I kept it on the pocket on my carharts. This pen is broken all over. I would find a tool for glass beaker and seat belt cutter. Writes well.
Question:	What type of brass is this made of? Does the brass alloy contain any lead
Answer:	Just put it in the same way the old refill was there. Might have to cut down the adapter the Fisher refill comes with because sometimes they are too tall.
Question:	Is the clip easily removed
Answer:	It's kinda short, about 4 inches. 3/4"- 1" shorter than a standard pen. I like the general design but it needs to be longer and the fluting on the grip area seems to allow the pen to slip out of your hand when writing, also mine would not take the fisher space pen refills. I have switched to a Zebra F-701 slightly modified and the fisher space pen refill. Hope it helps!
