Question:	Is eraser on top of the pencil
Answer:	Yes. It is a very nice folder. Nice leather. However, I felt that for my use the corner protection was not adequate for me. I take my ipad out of the case frequently, to pass it around to colleagues or just to use it without the folder. I have a tendency to fumble it, and so I wanted good protection for my ipad when it is outside the folder. So I bought a case, one of the ones that the ipad snaps into. It has rubber inside and a hard plastic shell. It still fits into the folder, and the folder zips shut. For me that is the best solution. You may not need the additional hard case case as I feel that I do.

Answer:	No, it is HB, but you can easily (very easily) refill with 2h or any lead you desire. I loaded some with blue and red lead as well.

Question:	I can't figure out where the eraser is? I have the 4 replacement erasers but I can't figure out where the eraser is
Answer:	There is a silver colored cover over the eraser on the end opposite the pencil tip. This eraser cover is pulled off exposing the eraser. The eraser is stabilized by a “bilobed” silver sleeve folded to hold the eraser. When this eraser is finished, one would rmove the remnant and replace it with the replacement eraser. Basically, the eraser is beneath the chrome eraser cover.

Answer:	No, actually it is not comfortable at all. I do a lot of writing drawing and diagramming and my writing fingers started getting a burn. Also I hold pencils closer to the bottom and its almost impossible to do with this pencil. The heaviness of it is great, but its cumbersome for me to use without a rubber cover or something

Answer:	Wobbly may be a bit of an exaggeration but there can be a bit of movement in the tip. I have a two Graph Gear 1000's, one tip has no movement and the other has maybe a 1/2 mm movement. The movement is imperceptible while writing though, at least for me.

Answer:	The eraser is located under the silver cap at the top. Being a drafting pencil, the eraser is very small (~4mm) and is designed for fixing small mistakes without erasing anything else. Question:	where does one find the instructions for this mechanical pencil
Answer:	You must be careful to not mistake the little 'pusher' piece, which is white and tiny, in the lead sleeve for lead. The pusher piece will stick out a short distance when there is NO lead in the pencil, but DO NOT get rid of this, or the pencil won't work. I watched a YOUTUBE video on how to load the lead and I figured it out, I just looked for Pentel Graphgear 1000 load lead, or something similar. One would think, though this isn't complicated, the mfr would put some sort of information or instructions with it, sometimes one can be just too clever for one's own good. Or, perhaps Pentel thinks we are all intuitive and of genius level - that is dangerous thinking. On the positive side, the pencil feels pretty good in the hand; I bought the set of 4 , one set for my wife and one set for myself.

Answer:	No. Lead is retractable, but tip is fixed.

Answer:	The Rapid Pro is a natural evolution of the Rotring 600 in terms of design. The profile is rounded, and the grip section more generous. In terms of functionality, the main difference is the retractable nib, present in the Rapid Pro and absent in the 600. The Rapid Pro is also available in 2mm edition in addition to the 0,5 and 0,7, while the 600 comes only in these two sizes. The 600 features an interesting lead hardness indicator, which is not present in the Rapid Pro. Both pencils have a full metal body.The Rotring 600 represents a piece of Rotring heritage, with its classic rugged design. The Rapid Pro is a more modern interpretation of the same concept.
Question:	Is the tip delicate? Would this be a pencil that can be carried in a pocket without the tip bending or breaking
Answer:	I carry it in my shirt pocket all the time and it's never been an issue. That said I've dropped the pencil several time and it always lands on the tip, and bends the tip. It's easily bent back into place (bend opposite on edge of table). If you don't bend it back in place and get it near perfect you'll be snapping lead. I've done this bending process at least 5 times over the 2 years I've owned this pencil and the metal tip shows now fatigue. If the pen was balanced a little better this would be a non issue.
Question:	is this pencil too heavy to put behind ear
Answer:	The pencil has some heft to it, but it stays behind my ear just fine. It's just heavy enough so that you won't forget it's there.

Answer:	Yes, it is oil free. The internal parts are impregnated with a Teflon substance that will eventually degrade and result in failure of the unit. You should get a few thousand hours use before this happens.

Answer:	I am not a jeweler. That being said, it really comes down to what you are powering with the unit as to if it would be functional for your usage. Is it quiet enough, or powerful enough? Depends on where you stow it and the tools being powered. I can barely hear it in my garage when I am in the adjacent room, and it will power just about anything on an intermittent basis, and several things on a continual basis.
