Answer:	Possibly, but if it were me, I'd look for something specifically for use on an instrument. Since this is basically a lapel mic, I'd be concerned that unless you had a great sound dampening mount, you'd pick up a lot of extraneous string noise or clicks and thumps whenever you'd touch whatever box (guitar, bass, etc.) you're playing.

Answer:	I connected mine to broadcast equipment. Since it is a XLR connection, I don't know how it can be connected to a laptop. Laptop has only inline input. Also impedance may not match with laptop input.

Answer:	It's made to be a lot sturdier, but that results in a microphone with a larger capsule and thick cable. I ended up returning it and getting two LV4's for about the same price, figuring I would have a backup if the LV4 failed.

As the Canon 70D does not provide phantom power, you will not be able to use these even with adapters plugged directly into the Canon 70D. To plug directly into the Canon 70D, you might want to use something like the Movo LV1 Lavalier Lapel Clip-on Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone for Cameras, Camcorders & Smartphones (Including Apple iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy & Note, etc) or even the Polsen OLM-20 Dual Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone which runs on batteries, or something similar. Answer:	You must choose a model that has phantom power. I have a Zoom H4n. It works very well. But keep in mind, from my testing, the omni is more sensitive than the LAV. And it picks up EVERYTHING. The LAV is okay, but it has a voice profile and is not good for actors or singers.

Answer:	XLR is a professional connection usually going into a mixer or mixer board set-up. It is a 3 pin system very large connector. I'm not sure your recorder would have an XLR connection. I assume it is a 3.5mm microphone input. It is also possible that you need a powered mic which these are not. Amazon has a lot of 3.5mm with power. Answer:	I would expect 2 microphones will work. This is not a "heavy duty" amp. Don't push it too hard. Although rated at 240 watts, we are running outdoor loudspeakers for a total of about 100 watts, the unit really gets hot when we turn the volume up. As for 2 microphones, mic 1 position will mute all other sound when it is active. I don't know of any way to turn that off. You may be able to set up the mic 2 and AUX inputs for 2 mics to be active at the same time.
