Worse, you must press the button to even see the current temperature, and then in a few seconds, it goes dark. It appears very accurate and the probe hasn't died (the weakest part in any of these). Press the button every so often till your brisket reaches your temperature or...buy a better one. Answer:	Nope. 2 keys. I was so happy when I saw that!

Answer:	My journal has 99 pages, so there's 198 pages (counting front & back of the pages.) It's a beautiful journal with really nice & thick paper.
Question:	How do you reset the passcode
Answer:	yes it is refillable. basic sewing skills may be needed.
Question:	Do the pages lay flat when open so that it's easier to write in it
Answer:	Initial journal pages are blank. If you need refills you can purchase either lined or unlined pages. I believe it is fair to warn you of one of the journals descriptors. They claim the journal is refillable (technically, the are telling the truth), but what they fail to mention is in order to refill, the user would need to cut out the original copic bindings (or leather straps holding each grouping of pages). Once the used pages have been removed, the owner needs to figure out, find, implement any sewing skills you find that might hold the newest pages. I bought this because of the "refillable" descriptor. I still love this journal & would buy it again especially since all of the other journals (excluding the hard back with leather cover) use this descriptor & expect the purchase to 'sew in' all future refills. Good luck, now that you've got more facts with which to make a decision regarding this purchase. Again, you won't be disappointed by this really nice journal but factor the 'refillable' description into you final decision.
