How to level up to the scanning master ?

1. Available to scan 8.5" wide and up to 9.8" high. For example, flexible to scan a book horizontally or vertically, according to the size of book.
2. Scanning in horizontal way would be easier than scanning in vertical way. If you can’t scan steadily, we suggest you try this way.
3. Don’t scan too slow/quick. Don’t need to scan in uniform speed. The red error indication light would show if scan too fast. The scanner would stop scanning if scan too slow. *Just scan in a not fast and slow speed, no need for uniform speed.
4. Don’t press the scanner during scanning. Many novices would try to press the scanner to scan steadily. Use the roller skillfully.

Do you really know your friend?

If you meet a situation like this, your scans come out very dark and not clear, the scanner keeps red light or doesn't scan anything, please teach a lesson to this slack boy with extensive calibration process

1. clean scanning glass with included clean cloth
2. put the scanner in a white paper
3. keep pressing the "JPG/PDF Button" , then press "Scan" to start calibration process
4. Once the red light stop flashing, start to scan with smooth sliding until the green light stop flashing.
5. The slack boy become diligent again

Answer:	It takes standard 35mm slides or film strips only. Most of mine are from the 50s and 60s. What size film were you using?

Answer:	Yes it works with mounted slides. Aren't all slides mounted? However the slider mechanism jams regularly and has to be pulled out of the ION and you have to fiddle with it to get the slides to go through.

Question:	will it work with polaroid photos
Answer:	I have used it on Polaroid photos. Note that such photos tend to fade over time. So you will be freezing them at their current state of deterioration.
Question:	does this scan "old" black and white negatives and allow for printing from an SD card
Answer:	I have never used it on negatives. The instructions say it works on 35 mm, 110, and 126 negatives.
Question:	Is there any photo editing software included for when you transfer photos to your computer
Answer:	No software is needed to transfer photos to your computer. The Magnasonic creates jpg images that can be transferred via included SD card or USB cable. This unit makes transferring photos super easy. It ROCKs!

Answer:	Yes - I scan both receipts and documents on a weekly basis. Just pulled up a couple of Walmart receipts and searched for both text and dollar amounts and it located the information.
Question:	What are the major differences between the doxie go and doxie one scanners
Answer:	Doxie one utilizes 300 DPI scanning, whereas Doxie Go utilizes 300 and 600 for archives. Question:	Do I need to flat my document
Answer:	The information is correct. A USB CABLE is included as specified in the description. A USB WALL ADAPTER (i.e. to allow the USB cable to be plugged into a power outlet) is not included.
Question:	How do you download this from the scanner server if you don't have internet
Answer:	It only scans. Does not print. Have not tried scanning paper, just photos.
Question:	Does anyone with a Mac use this without the software? Is it worth it
Answer:	If you were using the scan directly to PC mode, I would say about 30 seconds because of the steps you have to take. The photo will scan in less than 3 seconds but it will save to your computer's clipboard. You would have to have another program open (MSPaint, GiMP, etc) to past the photo into and then save. If you scan to the microSD card, it is much faster. It saves the JPEG to the card and you can then transfer the file to your computer either by connecting the device via USB cable or move the SD card to your computer. I recommend that process since you can scan a lot of photos in a short time to the SD card and then move them to your computer.
Question:	How well does it scan recipes from a book
Answer:	No. There are two ways to scan in photos, the memory card and a PC using their software. Also, the memory card is limited to 32 GB size or smaller. My 64 GB card would not work.

1. Long press on "Scan" to activate and short press to begin scanning, one more short press to finish scanning. NOTICE: Please put the scanner on the document before scanning, then press "scan" and slide the scanner through the document. DON'T press the "scan" before putting scanner on the document.
2. After scanning, press "Playback" to review your scanning. 1.5 inch color LCD preview screen allows for reviews of scanned images to ensure you have captured all that you needed before you leave the premises. (optional)

Do you really know your friend?

Sometime the scanner will become slack.

If you meet a situation like this, your scans come out very dark and not clear, please teach a lesson to this slack boy with extensive calibration process

1. clean scanning glass with included clean cloth
2. put the scanner in a white paper
3. keep pressing the "UP Button" , then press "Scan" to start calibration process
4. Once the LCD show "Scroll Scanner" , start to scan with smooth sliding until the LCD display nothing
5. The slack boy become diligent again

OCR Available
