Answer:	No. This is a warmer to keep already brewed coffee hot. It is not capable of heating cold water into boiling water.

Answer:	I wouldn’t recommend it with a mug. I’ve been using the Chemex carafe on mine and as long as there’s enough coffee in the carafe it works well. But it also has gotten hot enough to boil the coffee if the level gets low or sits there long enough. Without any way to control the temp, you’ve got to keep an eye on it and switch it off if it starts to boil. I live at 6,300 feet, and water boils at between 203-204 F, or so. Your mileage may vary.

Answer:	Yes, it stays on the temp you set. Cup sensing mode is not only maintain the temp you set, but also for the situation when you forget to put the mug back. It will turn off in 5 mins, instead of waiting for 8 hrs to auto off. For safety, saving electricity and environmentally friendly:)
Question:	On the reviews it says it won't warm up room temperature water and how is this not do if the temperature setting goes up to 230 degrees
Answer:	Double walled glass mugs are usually designed to handle the temperature at what most people drink their tea, coffee or soup. The most important thing with this product is using a flat bottomed mug. Many mugs are not flat bottomed. I got around this issue by putting coins on the plate underneath the mug. However I don't recommend others do this due to possible safety issues. Glass conducts heat well, so I would imagine a dual-walled glass mug would work better, actually.

Answer:	There's a really good stainless steel one that I use from Amazon. Search "Basket 8-12 Cup Perment Coffee Filter fit for Mr. Coffee Black & Decker Coffee Makers" It cleans very well and because it's not paper it won't filter out the oils that help the coffee taste fuller.

Answer:	The water's supposed to come out initially at a lower pressure to dampen the grounds before it reverts to full pressure for the brewing process. My experience with my Bonavita BV1900TS has been that the coffee brewed without pre-infusion seems stronger than brewed with it. And yes, the light remains steady when pre-infusion is off and blinking when it's on. You have to hold the power switch done five seconds until it blinks for on or blinks for off. You have to hold it down again for 5 seconds to change it from on to off or vice versa.
Question:	How does the pre-infusion work because once I push the button and it flashes no water comes out to wet the grounds
Answer:	Sure you can. Connect your phone to your WIFI, find the coffee maker and connect to it. If you cannot find the coffee maker, call tech support. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, hang up and try again. Keep trying until your phone bill is at least 100 bucks. After that, call your kids to see if they know how to get it going. Before they give up and walk away, have them turn it on by pushing the button.

This could be a Fire Hazard - its a hot plate for cooking, folks dont list these correct - Suggest a flat surface unit and Low Wattage. - the higher the Watts, the Hotter the surface gets. You definitely done need a 110 plug for candle wax. Be safe z. Look at the Ceramic Heat elements they are less expensive - around $11 - $14.00

If you have a coffee that is ice cold, depending on the size of the cup, ambient temperature, and the type of cup, it can take up to 5 minutes. In our tests in a 70F room, with cool tap water in an ikea glass cup, the water temperature went from 60F to 120F in roughly 3 minutes. This was probably 8 ounces of water or about half a regular water bottle. To sum everything up, IT DEPENDS...
