They write on the pieces with vis-a-vis markers and then wash and dry them off with paper towels after they're finished. The edges stay sealed and I've never had a problem with water getting inside. I would say that it doesnt really get any hotter on number 70 as it does on number 10. I have been putting it through its paces with both 3 mil and 5 mil (cardstock) papers and it runs great. I would say that we (my wife is a teacher) have done close to 300 and it still works as great as it did on the first one. |

I'm thinking that my answer might not have helped you, sorry if that's the case |

The appropriate pouches for larger documents would be Scotch TP3856-25 but any size up to 13" wide will work with this machine. |
