Answer:	Yes it can work,but you have to move up / down little act or keep the scanner 1-2 feet back from the item than scan it until you heard the noise....The scaners works very good but also the barcode printing quality is very important to read it...

Answer:	It depends on what you want on the receipt. If you just want a list of books purchased, their prices, the total amount due, and the date of sale you could easily set up an Excel spreadsheet to find this data when a book is scanned. That is what I'm currently doing to make a list of the equipment I'm taking to a job.

Answer:	It scans into any program as text, the same as if you typed it on the Keyboard. So Yes you can "Scan" a barcode into Excel, Word or even a text or "Note" document. How to Use

Inateck BCST-70 connects device directly via Bluetooth. Whatever your operating system is, the BCST-70 enters pairing mode after scanning the 2 correspondent barcodes(Note 1)in the instruction manual.

Different from 2.4Ghz wireless scanner

Due to lack of USB port, 2.4Ghz scanners cannot be used with phones or tablets, but only computers, POS or other fixed machines. Answer:	I use it on Linux Mint 18.3 with no problems. Make sure the USB hub you plug it into has sufficient power. You can use dmesg to see if it is recognized and working properly.
