Answer:	Sorry for the late reply! You can definitely send the pre-amp signal to this pedal; I use a Fishman Model G (old school) pre-amp coming out of my Ibanez acoustic. I gig regularly and don't have a great voice but do backing vocals for my wife. This definitely adds a lot of color to my harmonies and it also pitch corrects. A bit of advice: go for the extra power adapter which does NOT come with the pedal. This thing will eat batteries like you wouldn't believe and if you forget to shut it off, they're toast! Get the DC adapter and never worry about it!

Answer:	All you need is the Major keys. Use your music theory to determine the relative minor/major relationship. ie: Am is also C Maj, Em is also G Maj etc.

Answer:	You can do either. Set the pitch correction to a specific key or just let it adjust automatically. I have found the auto feature works the best.

Answer:	According to the manual, 80 secs. I haven't used the looper for more than 20 secs yet.

Answer:	The VE-8 comes with an AC power supply, but that is only for the secondary to the back of the unit. You would need to get an AC converter or step-up transformer, from 120VAC to 220VAC, on the primary, for operation outside the U.S.

Answer:	W Ng - I set up the Boss VE-8 differently than most, and it isn't hands free, but it is very effective. I have been using the unit live at gigs for over a year now. I cannot afford the time between songs to navigate the pedal on the ground with the different vocal and guitar effects I use (harmonies, vocal reverb, some guitar effects, etc). So I have the pedal sitting on a stand in front of me waist high (I stand). This allows me to make simple adjustments between songs by hand. I also have the Boss FS-7 foot switch set up ($60.00 on Amazon). This sits on the ground, and I am able to turn harmonies on and off during a song while continuing to play. Would also work switching on or off a guitar effect, the looper, etc. This system works very well live, and I waste very little time between songs with adjustments. i absolutely love this unit by the way.

Does this come with the wall plug

Answer:

II have not been able to do but its either one or the other. I use a bike pedal to turn off an on my mind playing the guitar. When I am doing a gig and I know the upcoming songs I will switch if I want to use it on my voice it's a quick plug switch back and forth.I believe it would take two of these units to do both at the same time but I could be wrong there might be something out there to be able to switch back and forth. Either way its real nice effects for both ways guitar and looping is awesome.
