Answer:	Mine did not have any insoles either. I bought some nice gel ones from Wal-Mart that were made in the USA. You would think with the price you have to pay they would be included. I wear 9.5 in shoes. However, when I buy boots I buy 10 because I often use heavy socks in my boots. Mine (in 10's) felt a little tight at first but they loosened up after some wear. I am not sure how tight they are for you but you may want to wear them around the house for a bit and see if they loosen up before returning them. In the house the soles will not wear and you will still be able to return them. I am in my 60's and remember when I was a kid that good shoes were tight when you got them and they loosened up as they wore. These are constructed like shoes use to be and will need some breaking in. The other thing is to keep them laced tight or they will give you blisters. After a fair amount of break in I really like mine. BTW is anything mine are a little loose now. Good Luck

Answer:	I'd say it depends on how you use them but I've consistently gotten 18 months - 2 years out of each pair. That's 10,000 + steps a day, 5 days a week indoors on a concrete floor, also includes a fair amount of using them as a hammer, scuffing the toe, etc... I'm on my 5th or 6th pair and they all crack on the arch of the sole but it's usually after a lot of miles. I would definitely buy them again.

Answer:	They do run true to size. The rubber portion is very thick, but uninsulated. I ordered a half size larger to allow for wool socks to be worn. So far, my feet have stayed warm and dry.

Answer:	If you buy a EE size shoe then you will. I can’t comfortably fit into a standard width shoe. The EE (wise) gives me the room to wear these boots without chewing up my feet or tearing out the side. I wore them during the Four Day March in the Netherlands with no problems. They had enough room for my feet to swell after 100+ miles and stayed the perfect size to wear daily after that event. In short, you’ll know if you need a wife because you’ll normally be seeking a wide shoe.

Answer:	The soles are glued and stitched in. You can also can easily take the cushion out and add another in it. It's a nicely crafted shoe that is water resistant and comfortable. I wore them in the snow and they kept my feet dry and warm. They also have good tread to prevent a lot of slidding.

Answer:	Weight is subjective...depends on size. I wear size 14 and I'm sure they weight twice as much as a small mans size. I shopped in a store before buying and compared these to a number of other brands and they are among the lighter weight boots among of the better brands. I found some inexpensive brands that were much lighter but not very good quality. They are not so heavy as to feel weighted. They are not as stiff as I anticipated them to be either.
