Answer:	No, but ZOOM makes (and Amazon sells) another model that will record FOUR channels --- the "same" two built-in mics PLUS two LINE/XLR jacks: the H5 (which I also own). (See here: http://amzn.to/2l8U4nC) (that's a lowercase L and N)

Answer:	Just a note about recording into a dslr: the bitrate and sample rate you set on the zoom doesn't affect the bitrate and sample rate recorded onto the dslr file. Your dslr always determines the bitrate and sample rate. (IE: for most Canon's that's 44khz/16 bit). The audio quality from the zoom will be better than your on-camera mic simply because the microphone itself is higher quality, but don't expect to be recording 96khz/24 bit audio straight into your dslr's .mov files!

Answer:	Sure thing. I use mine as a primary aiduo recorder for my Nikon D5300. I use the sound from the camera as areference track and then stnc the wave file from the Zoom to the video using Final Cut X. Works perfect with much better sound quality.

Answer:	You get roughly 12 hours on the 2GB micro SD card included, in MP3 320kbps. Quality is excellent. If you want WAV format your looking at about 2.5 hours with the stock card. Larger cards are cheap though so it's upgradable.

Answer:	There's no difference between the DR-05X and 2019 model as the 05X was only introduced in 2019. Version 2 was an older version. The display on the newer one is brighter and easier to read. This model will accept more SD card styles and a larger sd card size.

Answer:	No, need protection against the elements.

Answer:	Podcast is not a live medium but a record, edit and upload kind of medium. But it can be used as an audio interface if you do live streaming.
Question:	Does this output a separate audio file for each track? If not, then what device can do such
Answer:	It can record a mono file per track. It can also create a polyphonic file with all the tracks. Depends on your personal workflow.
Question:	When using it as an interface, does the 32 bit dual A/D converter mode work? Can you record in that mode straight to a computer
Answer:	The dual converters on the F6 operate when using the device as an audio interface, but the maximum bit depth when used as an audio interface is 24 Bit Linear.

Answer:	Class 4 for most recordings is fine. If you are recording 10 tracks with 32 bit float I would suggest Class 10. Most Micro an recent SD cards above 32 GB are class 10 anyway so it should not be a problem.

Answer:	A spare battery is only 4.84 from Amazon and I use a 4g usb drive and it works perfectly they are also on Amazon for about 8$. I find the flash drive works better cause the sd card goes in pretty deep and is a little difficult to remove. I would like to add this a very good device better than I expected

Answer:	It sounds like there is a defective spring mechanism in the Micro Card slot.It's good you were able to finally hear your music, but a unit with the issue you're describing really should have been exchanged for a properly working replacement.

Answer:	You can use something such as this to mount the device to a mic stand: On Stage CM01 Video Camera/Digital Recorder Adapter If you want to do what they did in the picture (not sure if I am looking at the same photo) I believe the picture shows them mounting a tripod head to a C stand and not a mic stand. Question:	What's a good USB battery pack to pair with this
Answer:	The biggest change is in the headroom. These preamps and converters are cleaner and offer more gain than the 2nd gen. These pres also come equipped with the "Air" mode which adds some high end to model the ISA preamp circuit. The 3rd gen 18i20 also has 16 ADAT I/O channels as opposed to the 2nd gen's 8 channels of ADAT. Answer:	Hi, There have been several improvements made to the 3rd generation range of interfaces. Firstly, all of the inputs on the 18i20 3rd gen feature Air mode, emulating the classic sound of our original transformer-based ISA preamps. Secondly, the 18i20 3rd gen now has the ability to switch between Main and Alternative speakers connected to it using a front panel button. Thirdly, we have added a built-in Talkback function (allowing the engineer to talk directly to the performer), a Loopback function (allowing audio from one application to be recorded into another without connecting cables), Dual ADAT ports for recording 16 channels of audio into the DAW at 96kHz, optical S/PDIF and removable rack ears. Lastly, the specifications of the preamps and conversion have been improved even further - for example, the dynamic range has been increased to 111dB and the gain range is now 56dB instead of 50dB on the 2nd generation. Answer:	The recorder has a 3.5mm input, so you can certainly connect an analog out from your mixer to it and record from that input.

Answer:	The DR-07X requires a micro-SD card. The card is not included. I use a 32 GB micro-SD card in mine, and it holds many hours of recording. A smaller card like the 16 GB will hold tons of recordings.
