Answer:	The inputs only record at 16-bit. It can record in either 44.1kHz or 48kHz.
Question:	Can I connect my Krk Rokit 5's to this audio interface
Answer:	There are 1/4 inch outputs on the back of the audio interface so, yes. I have mine running to my Yamaha HS5's via 1/4 inch to XLR cables. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Because I'm not an Apple owner (PC guy), I had to go look for an answer for you. I found a video on connecting Behringer to an Apple tablet. Question:	How well does this interface perform in regards to latency
Answer:	Up until recently, I could dial down the ASIO buffer to 64 samples and get about 2.5ms latency in each direction. However, it seems that recent Windows updates have wrecked ASIO4ALL, so I can only dial the ASIO buffer size to 256 samples, yielding a latency of about 10ms/21ms. Not great, but usable.

Question:	Will this device be able to take a stereo signal, have it processed by a linux machine and then output the modified stereo signal to it's RCA outputs
Answer:	If the device is plugged into the linux machine via the USB cable, it will do this for you. With this hookup, it will produce a 2 way signal, even simultaneously, 1 going into the computer, 1 coming out from the computer. If need be, it’s even capable of looping an output signal back in, say to a recording app on your computer. Just make sure you flip the little black monitor switch to the off position to eliminate distortion, and the signal looping back in will be crystal clear and strong.
Question:	Do I need to buy a separate cable to use this product? I'm not really sure how the I/O system works. Can someone explain? Thanks
Answer:	Not sure of your intended use for this product.I bought the UCA222 because the earphone jack on my Dell laptop went bad. It worked really well for my needs, it has a USB plug that connects to the standard USB port on my laptop. Then I connect my earphones to a standard plug on the device. No other cable required for me.
Question:	Can you connect to a USB power supply and use the analog to S/PDIF output
Answer:	I don't know about the S/PDIF but I suspect it won't work very well. I tried using the analog in to headphone jack using a USB power supply and it sounded terrible. I thought it would be a way around having to use a computer and it didn't work. Once I plugged the UCA222 into a laptop instead of a power supply it sounded way better.
Question:	Can I connect 5 of these to get 10 independent audio output channels generated by the computer via usb
Answer:	There's nothing technically preventing you from connecting 5 of these to get 10 independent audio outputs. If your software supports it, your computer will just see them as 5 individual audio cards. The problem your likely to run into is your computer does have a limit on how many USB devices can function simultaneously (USB Bandwidth). One way around this problem is to use a Quad USB PCI Card, that has 4 USB port and each one in it's own controller. The next thing you will need to consider is how many PCI lanes you have (will determine how many USB controllers your PCI bus can support) Hope this helps.

Question:	Is it stereo for dubbing audio cassette tapes or sound from TV
Answer:	The Behringer UM2 Audio Interface can be used as stereo or mono. However, from the sound of your question I don't think you need an audio interface. I've dubbed my audio cassettes and made CDs. All I used was Audacity, a free downloadable software and a line-in cable to connect my cassette player to my laptop. The technical setup for Audacity and the line-in cable can be found if you search on the internet. You can use the Behringer UM2 Audio Interface, and there are many good websites and videos to help you with the technical settings. Good luck!

Answer:	Absolutely. This is what I use to record my podcast.
Question:	Would I be able to use 2 mics
Answer:	It depends on the type of mics. I have tested mine with a second mic, a Nady SP5, using an XLR to 1/4" mono cable and it worked fine. Only drawback is second mic does not get the benefit of the EQ circuit. A test demo is up on Youtube, just search for "PodcaststudioUSB XENYX502 DEMO". I forgot to put the space in the title... Sorry.

Answer:	Yes it does, you can run up to three or four at a time I believe. I've only done two. Just plug it into the line 1. As for the FireWire, not sure.
Question:	Would this be good for my granddaughter who likes to sing, I thought she could record herself and play back. Is this what I need
Answer:	For singing, I wouldn't recommend this for someone who would just be starting. If she knows her way around sound equipment and software then I'd definitely recommend this or something of equal quality for the price. The microphone itself can only interface the computer through the mixer and then the USB hookup. This provides better quality than some other microphones when configured properly, but it's also more sensitive and will require a stand, and pop filter, which are not included in the set. I spent no more than $150 on this and the other equipment I bought for the purpose of live-streaming on the internet. Overall I'm highly satisfied with the use and quality i've gotten out of behringer products, but for your purposes I'm unsure of wether this is the best option.

Question:	It appears that phantom power gets switched on all 4 mic pres simultaneously. Can I use dynamic & condenser mics together without causing damage
Answer:	Lets correct a few things. NO dynamic mics need Phantom power. And yes the power will reach the dynamic mics and generally that is OK. Also condensers that don't have batteries NEED phantom power. B123 managed a post with some serious misinformation. It is best not to send phantom to a dynamic because if the phantom is unbalanced a bit (broken cable, dirty pins etc.) you move the diaphragm of the capsule. So I wouldn't worry about it because the chance of actually doing damage is very small. The info on Ribbon mics is important to remember because Phantom will damage classic ribbon mics. I believe some of the modern ones have built in protections, but I wouldn't take a chance unless a manufacturer actually says their mic is safe on phantom power.

Answer:	Keep in mind that this listing combines the UM2, UMC202HD, UMC204HD, UMC404HD, and UMC1820 onto a single page. So it is easy to confuse which unit you're talking about. The 404HDwill be able to send 4 discrete tracks to your DAW. The UM2 and 202HD can only do 2 tracks at a time. The 1820 can record up to 18 tracks when paired with an 8-channel ADAT preamp and a 2-channel S/PDIF preamp.

Answer:	IDK I got when I haINXP the damned thing never worked with,But I see no reason why it should not I got mainly as platfrom to hook my guitar up to and play with applications I had on computer and online. Dasically this should work with any recording software you have .

Answer:	Perhaps i'm misunderstading but by output I assume you mean output to speakers/monitors? If so, I dont believe this unit can as it only has input and headphones for ports. Could maybe use headphones as a mono line to speakers.

Answer:	Most likely, unfortunately I couldn't use the one I bought because it doesn't work with Windows 10, and Behringer Customer Service was unable to provide a solution for that.
Question:	i used audacity to record my guitar going through this device unto my computer, however, the recording volume is too low, should i use a pre-amp to correct this problem
Answer:	I do know that a pre-amp would help boost recording volume and add effects, but I'm interested to know why your volume is so low. I didn't use a pre-amp for recording with this device and had no problem with input volume. I use reaper and have little experience with audacity, so I don't know if you are already maxing out your volume or not in audacity. I would make sure that your input volume in the software you are using isn't too low before spending money on a pre-amp. The whole point I bought this device is so I didn't have to spend a lot of money on a pre-amp in the first place.

Answer:	Power for this unit is provided through the included USB cable when it is attached to your laptop or desktop computer...no separate power cord is needed or supplied.
Question:	When you monitor with only one mic plugged, do you get that signal on left and right side of headphones or just left/right
Answer:	The 204HD (and I believe the 404HD as well), has a "mono/stereo" switch (actually a small button), which lets you monitor in mono if pushed in. If you leave it up, you can monitor in stereo. I've only ever had my AT2035 plugged in. So, you can get either with one mic input.

Answer:	It could possibly do that. This is a latching switch so its push on, push off, not momentary. I used to use one on my keyboard to hold notes so it will probably work for you. Try it. It wont damage your keyboard.

Answer:	That depends. This pedal does not ‘pass’ signal thru it. It only has has 1 jack so it only switches. So if you have an active subwoofer and it has a footswitch (on/off) 1/4” TS jack, then yes. Otherwise, no. Hooe this helps.

Answer:	I agree with Sean on this one. I usually plug in an MP3 player and just fade in the music. This may not be the best option for you if you are constantly needing to queue music. When I've had to do that, I've done it 2 different ways, both involve a stage snake: one way was I run an actual stage snake and have the Behringer with me as if it were a traditional mixer. The second way is to run a snake for only the 2 channel audio from the laptop next to me and send it up into the stage. Again, both involve a snake and sort of defeat the main purpose of this. However, you still gain remote access to the mixer which still allows you to roam around the room to adjust the audio. It's not a complete loss if you need constant access to a music source.
