Plug It In

The MultiMix 4 USB FX mixer has four input channels, all of which can accept a 1/4inches line input. You can plug XLR microphones into channels one and two, including condensers thanks to the selectable 48V phantom power supply. You can also plug a guitar or bass directly into channel two's switchable high impedance DI input. A stereo, 1/4inches headphone output has its own level control for private monitoring.



Get in the Mix

Ideal for live sound engineering or home recording, MultiMix 4 USB FX features onboard volume, pan, and EQ controls for making quick, accurate adjustments to your mix. The MultiMix 4 USB FX mixer has a two-channel, five-stage, multicolor LED meter for visual monitoring the main output level. Channels one and two offer switchable high-pass filtering at 75Hz to reduce low-frequency rumble, handling and wind noise. Channels one and two provide high- and low-shelving EQs, independent gain trims, and have independent pan controls. For convenient stereo mixing and recording, channels three and four are configured as a stereo pair at the level and pan controls.

MultiMix 4 USB FX contains a complete USB recording audio interface. Plug the MultiMix 4 USB FX’s class-compliant USB connection into your Mac or PC without the need for software drivers and enjoy a digital-direct stereo connection with virtually any audio software application. The MultiMix 4 USB FX enables bidirectional stereo playback, so you can record the stereo Main output into your computer and listen back using the mixer as an interface from software to headphones and monitoring loudspeakers. Plus, you can record stereo audio directly to your iPad with the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit (sold separately).

Answer:	Think of it like a concert, Main Out is the speakers the crowd would hear. Monitor Out is the speakers turned backwards that the musicians hear. Headphone Out is what the producer behind the mixer listens to. And yes, you can control the volume on all three of those outputs independently from each other.

Answer:	Evening... I downsized from the Multimix 4 to a two-channel mixer, basically used for my audio book recordings. If memory serves me correctly, this does offer 2 track in/out via the bus (stereo, of course). Answer:	Just bought my refurbished model, AMX-7333 and all mic channels work fine. I used a Thumb Drive to play some tracks and even connected my Android Phone via Bluetooth and played some saved Youtube tracks thru the headhpones. This will come in handy using this mixer with my JBL EON ONE powered array speaker at my bands gigs for break music.

Answer:	I believe you can do that. Have not tried it but I am using a VoiceMeter Banana with this. The main issue will be BT quality. My phone disconnects all the time so I have zero reliability and stability and could not use it for such purposes although technically it should be doable.

Answer:	Hi, You can monitor your inputs and listen to playback from your computer simultaneously, which allows you to create overdubs with next to zero latency. You can either choose to monitor the inputs using the Direct Monitor switch, or you can use the Input Monitor feature in your DAW. If using the Direct Monitor feature the input signal will be passed directly to the line and headphone outputs, whereas if you use the Input Monitor feature in your DAW, you will be hearing the audio you're recording back from your DAW. Answer:	Hi, When recording a single microphone, you should ensure that you create a mono audio track in your DAW instead of a stereo audio track. When you record onto a mono audio track, the output from that track will be heard on both sides of your headphones or speakers (ensuring the output is set to stereo), however, if you record onto a stereo track, the audio will just be recorded onto the left side of a stereo file and you will ony hear it on the left of your headphones/speakers. Answer:	No, it’s one or the other. There is a two position switch to choose.

Answer:	No. You can plug in your headphone directly in the unit. It requires a 1/4 jack. If you are broadcasting live, you need to plug your headphone directly to the source you are broadcasting to, ie: computer mixer audio board output, otherwise you will get feedback, in this case, plugging to the Pyle unit won't help you. The Pyle unit's headphone jack will only let you hear the sound being mixed in the unit.
