User questions & answers
Question: | Is this compatible with atm350 cw |
Answer: | Hello! Yes, that microphone is compatible. Thank you for your interest! Y2PLAY Stores - 800-695-4808 |
Question: | Would I be able to connect the wireless mic and a body pack transmitter to this at the same time |
Answer: | hi,i haven't tried it yet but i'm quite sure that two will not work at the same time for its frequency reasons. though the units (mic and body pack) were having the same freq, only one transmitter will work. |
Question: | What is the difference 2000 vs 3000 type |
Answer: | Hello. The 2000 Series from Audio-Technica is the most affordable professional-level UHF systems offered. The 3000 Series is a slightly more advanced system, which will allow you to use potentially hundreds of systems at the same time (compared to a maximum of 8 to 10 per frequency group on the 2000 series). We have also from the 3000 series to have significantly better signal range and reception quality under certain circumstances, plus the 3000 Series allows the use of antenna combiners in professional set-ups. Lastly, the quality of the microphones included with the 3000 Series is better on most set ups, so you will get better sound quality from the microphones themselves. Thank you again for your interest! |
Question: | How do you "lift the battery keeper arm" on the "unipak" transmitter? Pulling medium-hard it doesn't budge and I'm afraid I'll break it |
Answer: | Hi Rick, at the top of the arm is a small tab. If you press on that tab while lifting slightly, the arm will pivot outward from the bottom. It's tricky the first time; I struggled with this too. But the "battery keeper arm" does pivot from the bottom; pulling from the middle could conceivably break it. Once you squeeze that tab though, the arm swings away from the battery compartment quite easily. Hope this helps! |

Audio Technica’s System 10 is a digital high fidelity wireless system designed to provide performing musicians and presenters with advanced 24 bit operation, easy setup and clear, natural sound quality. Operating in the 2.4 GHz range, far from TV and DTV interference, System 10 offers extremely easy operation and instantaneous channel selection. Up to eight channels may be used together without any frequency coordination problems or group selection issues. System 10 receivers and transmitters offer an easy to read digital ID display. System 10 wireless ensures clear communications by providing three levels of diversity assurance: frequency, time, and space. Each configuration includes the ATW R1100 receiver and either a body pack transmitter or handheld microphone/ transmitter. User questions & answers
Question: | Why does the system go through batteries so fast? I teach & use this to project my voice but I can't afford going thru 6 or more new batteries daily |
Answer: | The battery life is short, but to be using 6 or more batteries per day is a bit much. Could be something wrong with the mic. Are you sure you are powering off each time. It also has a pause mode which the battery is still pulling, may want to check that. I am a Minister of Music and use mine at our rehearsals and weekly services and have to change my batteries every 3 weeks. |
Question: | How can i get an online copy of the user manual for "audio-technica system 10 atw-1101/h92-th wireless beige headworn microphone system |
Answer: | Thank you for your inquiry. The link to the official pdf version of the manual online is on Audio-Technica's website: www.audio-technica.com/cms/resource_library/literature/49804680d3ddaae2/p52402_04_system10_manual.pdf |
Question: | How long do batteries last |
Answer: | A new set of AA alkaline batteries (1.6v) will last about 6 hours of continuous use. Rechargeable AA will usually charge to only about 1.4 v, which can last for 3+ hours. For our live theater shows, we have 6 AT Sys 10 units and just buy a case of 48 AA AmazonBasics for less than $14 (28 cents each) and we are good to go. We replace all the batteries for each performance. Think about it - I know all my wireless mics will be good for the whole show for less than $4 - less than 1/4 of the price of one theatergoer's ticket. |
Question: | Is there a noticeable delay between the performer and the output? If singing fast tempo lyrics, will it cause an rhythmic irregularities |
Answer: | Nope. This is always rock-solid! Upgrading to the more expensive rack-mounted, extendible antenna System 10 Pro receivers next just for the rack versatility, but same zero noticeable latency. Signal never breaks or distorts either! |
Question: | Will this work with a Canon Vixia HF G20 camcorder? Looking for wireless mic for outdoors interviews 50' or less from camera |
Answer: | Should work with any video camera with a standard 1/8" (3.5 mm) TRS "mini plug" otherwise known as a "Walkman" jack. But after checking the Canon website, 100% absolutely, yes, the PRO88W-R35 is compatible with that camera. Bowlers Edge has the jack size wrong. Ignore him. Your camera's jack is standard 3.5mm which is why Audio Technica and Canon both use it. |
Question: | does this come with any microphone at all? description doesn't mention |
Answer: | Yes... I wondered the same thing... It comes w/ a lavalier mic. |
Question: | Watched some reviews and noticed a hissing noise. Would a new different mic nullify the hiss |
Answer: | I purchased this microphone is much betterAudio Technica AT829MW Lavalier Mic for Pro 88W TransmitterHaim Ziv - ISRAEL |
Question: | is this offer for one or 2 mics if one what do i add to have |
Answer: | This device is for one mic only, there is no way that you can use two microphones at the same time. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can I buy more microphones that work with this set? If so which ones |
Answer: | You can buy more mics that will work but you can only use one at a time. So don’t buy another mic unless you need a replacement. |
Question: | What frequencies does this mic run on |
Answer: | 2.4ghz is the frequency the system operates on. |
Question: | How is the mic with plosives? our current atw-t210a 2000 series unipak is horrible at this. i hear every sudden burst. phh phh. is it better than oem |
Answer: | You didn't mention which mic you are currently using? This mic, being a cardioid, is more susceptible to wind noise and plosives. You can take care of this by using a 'furry' type windscreen. |
Question: | Is this product compatible to audio technica receiver atw-r2100a |
Answer: | This is a mic. It plugs into a transmitter. The transmitter that it plugs into that works with your ATW-R2100 receiver is the ATW-T210. If you have the ATW-T210, then you can use this mic. |
Question: | Is there an adapter to plug this mic directly into a camera, camcorder or recorder with 3.5mm jack |
Answer: | Hello. This microphone is made specifically for use with Audio-Technica brand beltpack receivers for wireless microphone systems. The plug is a Uni-Pak plug and is not compatible with any other devices, nor are adapters available for it. You would need a very different lavalier type of microphone to plug into a camera or recorder, most likely with a phantom power unit. Thank you for your interest! Y2PLAY Stores - 800-695-4808. |
Question: | Its cable connect to XLR or do I have to buy separately an adapter or something |
Answer: | The AT831CW is terminated with locking 4-pin connector for AT UniPak bodypack wireless transmitters. For Audio-Technica wireless system. No adapters needed. |
