Answer:	For trimming yes they're amazing. But if your trying to cut a 2-3inch stock then I would suggest a stronger pair

Answer:	About 2 1/8 inches with the shears closed. When open the tips are 1 1/4 inch apart and 1 11/16 inch from inside where the blades cross to to the tip of each blade. Tip of blades are about 1/32" and where they cross they are 3/8" wide. I like these even better than the Fiscars.

Answer:	Carol, I wouldn't use them for pruning trees except for smallest of branches. They aren't really designed for anything too large. I've used them to cut back some small bushes and they did fine and they also worked on my outside plants, but a thick hardwood would probably be to much for them.

Answer:	Since I’ve never cut up pigs’ ears, I can't say for sure. They work very well in the aforementioned fruits, etc. They aren’t top of the line construction and I think the spring might get sticky if you use it for a lot of wet things. They’re very sharp and easy to use otherwise. But I haven’t had to get the spring wet and don’t plan to.

Answer:	I would say it will work on some fish. Smaller fish such as bass and trout should work well but large fish with tougher fins might be a struggle. Also, these aren't stainless steel so rust could be a problem.

Answer:	Hi! Tiffany...I just went to my pruner drawer and checked all 6 of the Felco pruners that I have and there is NO rust on them. Of course, I DO NOT LEAVE them "lay around" in my garden after use. I do not clean and polish them, so they do accumulate some plant resins on them...but they are just wonderful in spite of my neglect!! I've used some of them for longer than 25 or 30 years! I've tried other brands before Felco and once used a Felco NEVER bought any other pruners. I've had 73 David Austin English Shrub Roses in my garden in the past...so the pruners have been USED A LOT! Answer:	Hello! Amazonhappy....The Swiss do an excellent job in designing for utility. Unless you have extremely large hands (basketball player?), you will probably find these pruners comfortable for even an extended session of pruning in your garden. I have just compared the handles on my Felco F-6 Classic pruners and my Felco F-2 Classic Pruners...and the handles are the same. The only difference is in the weight of the pruner itself. The F-6 is for lighter pruning, roses, vines, shaping shrubs whereas the F-2 is for larger canes and branches before getting to required "lopper" dimensions. Since I respect my pruners...if I get to a cane or branch too large, I use the F-2 pruner and when I get to the "lopper" sized branch...I stop and get one of my loppers...and I've benefited from that habit, as my pruners continue to serve me well after all these years. Corrosion is something that gardeners have to deal with the whole time and is very annoying to deal with.Titanium is an excellent reisistant to corrosion due to a stable, protective, strongly adherent oxide film. This film forms instantly when a fresh surface is exposed to air or moisture. Then it forms a passive and protective oxide coating that protects it from further reaction. Answer:	The locking mechnism system, can open to two sizes to provide you with maximum comfort and to suit your size hand. It can even be used with one hand.There are three options:1. When the lock mechanism is moved to the right, the garden shears are closed and locked securely. This is important because our gardening shears feature very sharp blades that cut very smoothly but need to be closed when not in use.2. When the lock mechanism is moved slightly to the left, the pruners are open, but not extremely wide, to give those with smaller hands an easy and comfortable grip.3. Question:	Does the spring will hurt my fingers
Answer:	These pruning scissors can be used by almost anyone the tension on the spring is fairly weak, my 3 year old can open/close them easily. However the blades are dull, you will have a difficult time getting these to cut anything, overtime this will cause muscle fatigue in your hand. I threw mine away, they’re very poor quality.
