Answer:	You need a cable with a 1/8 " connector on one end which plugs into your headphone jack on your computer. On the other end of the cable you need RCA connectors. You can buy a 1/8" to RCA cables on Amazon. They have dozens to choose from. With that arrangement you can play music from your computer through the mixer. The output from the mixer is also RCA connectors. So you will need a cable with RCA connectors on one end which will be plugged into the output from the mixer and on the other end of these cables you will need either RCA connectors if you are plugging it into a home stereo amp or 1/4" connectors if you are plugging it into a DJ or band type amp sound system. If your laptop has bluetooth capability like mine does and like my ipad and iphone does, you connect via bluetooth. It is really simple. Answer:	there could be a an easy answer, take off all the players connected first and see if you still have the sound there of the hum, if so, it could be a bad wiring where the power is, there are hum suppressors that can help get it out, some audio leads can course it too, I have it with my computer putting a hum in it, but laptops can do the same, some fans can make the sound as well, but check the volts and hz to make sure it is the right, and do know connect the lighting on the same line the audio is on as well it can make a hum sound, all this is what I have pick up in working in nite clubs, pubs and doing mobile disco.

Answer:	This mixer does not have sufficient mono channels for your application. Channels 2-3 and 4-5 are stereo inputs (meaning they are contolled with the same fader). Some of the larger Xenyx mixers will get you the inputs you need.... something with at least 5 distinct faders to control each instrument's mix individually.Hope this helps. :-)
Question:	Does this mixer support 48V Phantom Power
Answer:	Most microphones do not require 48 volts of phantom power. Many condenser microphones only require somewhere between 4 and 12 volts. You should check your mic. It looks like this is a 15 volt feed.

Answer:	Yes, to an analog soundcard. All you need is a 1/8" stereo to dual-RCA cord. Mixer has both input and output RCA capability, so you could feed the output of the mixer to the line/mic of the soundcard or feed the output of the soundcard (line out/speaker out) to the input of the mixer. There is also a headphone jack on the mixer so that could also be patched back to the soundcard's line in/mic. For me, I am usually running the PC speaker out to the mixer RCA input -- the volume is controlled by the Main, and then I can either use headphones from the mixer or run the 1/4" output into my guitar amp. Answer:	The 2 track input allows you to connect an external music source to the xenxyx mixer and then into an amplifier with speakers or headphones using the outputs located near the top. The external music source can be anything that has the red and white RCA outputs such as a cassette/CD player or VCR/disc player (the red and white input/output for the 2 track are called RCA connectors). This is so you can plug in your CD player and also a microphone and an instrument that has a 1/4" output such as a guitar or electric piano and have it all mixed together. Just below the 2 track input are a couple of buttons that allow you to choose whichever output you want, either headphones or amplified speakers (main out). Answer:	Hi. Any of the onboard effects will work with the with Mic channels. One effect at a time, though.
Question:	Is this mixer capable of "mix minus" configuration? If so how is it done? I cant seem to get it to produce any audio from the "fx send" port
Answer:	been trying to determine this for my own setup. thus far it seems No as the AUX is post fader. im trying to isolate the mic on the FX send and have it removed from the main mix.. nothing seems to allow this to happen. i can get the FX send to work but if the usb and the FX send are connected to the same source, both signals carry the mic audio...

Answer:	This is a mixer and not any type of recording device. This operates on USB and does not have any recording capability built-in. This is used to record multiple sources at one time and make that into one Stereo/Mono audio output that can be used with a recording software, streaming software, or even a live speaker system. You can record the main output via computer, but even then, this will all be one audio stream, not one for each separate channel.

Question:	can i connect the dvd player/recorder and my tv so i can record tv shows i will be missing
Answer:	MAYBE. If the player/recorder has Composite or S-Video inputs , you can connect it to a TV with a Composite or S-Video output. Some TV shows may have anti-copy features so your DVD recorder may refuse to make the recording. Try connecting the DVD input to the TV output by temporarily rerouting the cables. If that works, then putting the RS1500320 between them will also work . I assume your TV has an input that can connect to the DVD output (most TVs do have multiple inputs).
Question:	Do I have to flip a switch between the 4 outputs or can they all run simultaneously
Answer:	No switching. All 4 outputs are fed simultaneously.
Question:	Can you have the input be s-video, one of the outputs be s-video and another one of the outputs be composite
Answer:	My guess is no. Most of the low end devices like this are 1 to 1. Meaning S-Video in feeds the S-Video outputs and Composite feeds Composite. It is doubtful that the cross modulation required to do what you are asking would be built in as it would be too expensive.
Question:	If i have rca composite only going in can this convert the outgoing video to s-video
Answer:	While it converts S-Video to analogue composite video - or composite video to S-video - it can't upgrade that signal. Component Video (using red/blue/green separate connectors for video) is the best of the old connections - next comes the S-video connectors - the worst quality being the single yellow composite video - and when you begin with a lower quality signal - it is not possible to upgrade that signal by simply converting the format used. The quality of your signal is determined at the source - not by converting the signal to another format. (clear as mud possibly???)

Answer:	I use this with an ammoon boost pedal and it works fine. It should work with any 9v effect pedal as long as the polarity is correct. This is usually clearly marked on both the plug and the pedal. Do not use if the polarity is reversed or you’ll damage your pedal. Also, I use a multiplier and use it to also power a zoom multi effect pedal and it does the job.

Answer:	I have tested this with many different pedals and it worked great. I even used it with a daisy chain and everything stayed powered and silent.

Question:	What is the difference between the sm58 and the pga58? I am a moble dj and karaoke host. I have customers that are really particular about the sound
Answer:	The PGA58 is the cheap version of the SM58. The SM58 will sound a little better. If you're not super sensitive to sound then the PGA58 will likely work just fine. If I were a DJ I would do the SM58 and then just have a mixer to turn the mic off if need be. PGA58 has an ON/OFF switch on it so it can be turned off by accident. But, some folks want a power switch on the mic.
Question:	Does this mic have an internal shock mount
Answer:	All mics have some internal shock mount. But depending on your use, it may not be adequate. This mic is average noise for what is considered a handheld mic.
Question:	Do i need xlr male to female or male to male
Answer:	The microphone uses a standard XLR and has three prongs. If you order a cord with the microphone they will give you a choice of XLR or 1/4", this choice pertains to the end that does not plug into the microphone. Personnaly I selected the 1/4" so I could plug it into my amplifier (my amp has two inputs) while practicing. The 1/4" will also plug into our group's PA system becasue the PA has a plug that accepts either 1/4" or XLR. Saying all that, you need a cord with a female XLR to plug into the microphone's male XLR and the other end will be either a male 1/4" or male XLR to plug into whatever you are using to amplify your voice.
Question:	Can you plug in this mic to an amp? My previous mic plug had a long silver end on it but this one doesn't have one
Answer:	The cable that comes with it is XLR to XLR, so no, it won't plug into the amp without a 1/4" connector. Cable is not permanently attached to the mic, and can be changed to an XLR TO 1/4" type cable. The mic is incredible and worth every penny.
